Most of you don’t know this…
But I actually left school at 15 to study dance full time!
Dance was my whole life from the age of 8 all the way up to 18
It got me through so many hardships in my life and kept me out of trouble growing up but losing out on so many childhood/teenage experiences eventually took its toll on me
When COVID hit my mental health plummeted and I decided to step away from dance after having a taste of what it’s like to actually be a teenager and removing any pressures from myself that I had been dealing with since the age of 8
I would have never had thought that I’d be doing what I do now. Never in a million years.
But god am I grateful for how everything’s turned out
Now I get to enjoy the outdoors and nature and the pure freedom of life. Something no sport will ever allow me to feel fully
So thank you dance, you taught me many great attributes that are still heavily instilled in me today, but I want to say a even bigger thank you to the dogs
The dogs that changed my life, shaped my adult mind and allowed me to find something I can truly love whilst it still provides my income - that is hard to find!
I still love to bust a move, that’ll never leave me🤣🕺🏼
