‼️🚨Twisted shoe or loose shoe ?🚨‼️

Horse shoes can sometimes become twisted or loose on the foot.
This can be very dangerous. Your horse could step on a nail or clip and injure themselves further.

So, it’s a good idea for all horse owners to know how to safely remove a shoe themselves.

In April 2020, this horse had a keratoma surgically removed. The owner, vet & I have been working hard to keep him as comfortable as possible since the op. I have adapted the shoes & materials used to best accommodate the different stages of the process & as you can see it has paid off! I really enjoy this type of work & helping a horse recover makes all the work worth while!
