Today marked the start of our new Livestock training programme.

The rather wonderful Angus had his first session today.

The course covers the law surrounding livestock worrying, tips for handlers, training to prevent issue and training to help if your dog does react to stock.

The course has two venues and we work around real stock (our own sheep) for the last three weeks of the course.

3 more dogs will start next week.

We had a great time at Friday Night Dog Club tonight, both sessions were full and we have a lovely variety of dogs in!

FNDC is a safe inviting space for those who currently train with us who wish to enjoy extra top up pay and go sessions.

One thing our groups learn to do really well is to be steady around others.

This is so helpful in the real world. When you stop for a chat, when you’re at the vets, or even out and about.

When you see the dogs like this you might think your dog would never manage it. Any of the clients in this clip would tell you, this behaviour has been grown over time.

What a way to return to work! Cracking session today with Archie the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Massive thanks to Bella and her human for helping Archie on his socialization journey.

Training helps dogs to be comfortable in the world they live in, which makes our lives with them so much easier.

Well done to both teams. Your hard work is paying off!

Goodness me it’s another scorcher!

Thank goodness it’s due to break later this evening!

All daytime and teatime classes are cancelled.

Hoping to run the last two groups later on the evening. I will contact all participants privately to confirm.

Should be back to normal service tomorrow 🙏
