⭐️MEET THE TEAM⭐️ Simon - Head Vet 🩺

Simon graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013 and has been living his dream of working with animals ever since—whether that means offering down-to-earth advice, performing surgery, or giving out a well-timed treat and ear scratch.

He has a special interest in surgery and emergency medicine, and he’s especially passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with pets and their owners—from puppyhood all the way through to the golden years. Simon is all about making vet visits as relaxed and positive as possible, and he takes pride in supporting owners through every stage of their pet’s life.

When he’s not at the clinic, Simon is usually out hiking, cooking something delicious, planning his next travel adventure, or heading to the coast any chance he gets. At home, he shares life with two black Labradors: Ottilie, the wise and wonderful mum, and Feta, her endlessly energetic puppy. He also has two very special cats: Forrest, a 12-year-old gentleman managing life with hyperthyroidism, and Maggie, also 12, both of whom he hand-reared from just two weeks old. (Yes, he’s been wrapped around their little paws ever since.)

Simon is an asset to the Oakham team and always brings laughter to a busy day!
