R E M A I N I N G ▪️ O P E N

Following tonight’s announcement we will be remaining open, however operating for welfare purposes only with strict safety procedures still firmly in place.

If your appointment is not deemed essential for the welfare of your dog, you will be contacted and your appointment cancelled. We will then reschedule when allowed to operate fully. Alternatively, if you feel your dog’s appointment is not crucial at this time and can wait, please cancel and stay at home.

If you wish to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please contact the salon.

We have now received clarification on this confusing situation. We have been given the go ahead to re-open! 🎉

Thank you to all of you that have had to deal with appointments being cancelled, rescheduled and then old ones now reinstated... it’s been a chaotic time.

Current safety measures will continue to protect us all during this difficult time.

Once again, the doors must close.. hopefully only for 4 weeks this time around!

Thank you for all your support and lovely messages over the last few days. It’s definitely been a busy time!

All appointments from tomorrow until 2nd December are all cancelled and I will be in touch to rebook in due course. Please bear with me.

U P D A T E !

With the amount of calls/texts asking to book in as soon as we are open again increasing rapidly, please note the following:

All customers that have missed their dogs grooming appointment due to lockdown, will be rebooked first. You will be contacted with a new appointment date. Please don’t think you have been forgotten and need to contact to rebook. To ensure fairness, it will be done in order of cancelled appointments since March 23rd. The more you call or text, does not mean you’ll get in any sooner, sorry!

Due to the nature of certain breeds coats, some dogs will be prioritised during this time for their welfare.

For all our other customers who are wanting an appointment and new customers who have been in touch, you will be added to the waiting list. This will be worked through once all cancelled appointments are booked.

To ensure social distancing and in order to carry out strict cleaning procedures between clients, there will be new rules regarding drop off and collection procedures to follow. However, to help our days run as smoothly as possible there will be no flexibility to our usual policy:

* Late arrivals will be turned away
* Late collections will incur a ‘late collection charge’
* Any missed appointments will be charged in full

* In addition under the circumstances, dogs won’t be dematted. Some dogs are now very overdue and so it would be in their best interests to have a shorter cut this time (if needed) which can be maintained going forward.

As less appointments will be available to ensure guidelines are followed for everyone’s safety, please be patient and know you haven’t been forgotten.

Hoping everyone is well and staying safe. So we have another 3 weeks to sit tight. I’m sure everyone’s doggies are enjoying them being at home!

I know a lot of your dogs are now overdue or will be by the time this ends so please, please contact me if you’re unsure on how to keep on top of their coats or if I can be of any other help.

We will open as soon as it is safe to do so and no doubt see some very hairy dogs by then! 🙈

🐾 Following the latest announcement this evening, it has been taken out of my hands and Paws Retreat will be temporarily closing until further notice. I will be in touch over the coming days to all those booked in over this time and to provisionally rebook for 3 weeks time, however it isn’t guaranteed. Safety is priority so please look after yourselves. If anybody would like advice on keeping on top of their dogs coats during the shutdown period, please contact me.
