A new branch of Paws & Claws is opening!

Hello, many of you know me as the village dog walker and pet sitter… but did you know that I offer care for not just your fluffy friends? As someone who has owned many rare species in the past and now, I am offering my help to those in nearby villages.

Do you often struggle with boarding your reptile due to immense costs? Or finding someone just to come and feed your birds or even to stretch the legs of your tortoise?
I am here to help you.

With my often flexible schedule I am here to support your animals journey while you are away or unable to care for them yourself. I do this by offering at home visits so there is no added stress on your animals as often boarding can be immensely daunting and scary to them as they are in a different environment. At these home visits I adjust completely to your routine and follow it step-by-step to encourage the best health of your animals. By choosing someone to come to your house instead of sending your animal away to them, it massively reduces their stress levels as they are able to stay in their own environment. And as someone with reptiles, this can negatively impact them by causing them to drop their tail in fear.

I am here to help with all of your animals needs. As listed below, I am capable of doing all sorts and more if you ask!

It’s been a while since I posted!! My dearest apologies I have been hard at work with some new clients and their wonderful pets as well as some amazing familiar faces! Over the past month I have been off school so have been working for the majority of the day! I have had the privilege of spending quality time with your animals as well as some awesome people 💕. I truly to love my job and am forever grateful for those who believed in me from the very beginning and continue to support me as I move forwards!

I have had the greatest privilege of all while looking after all of these wonderful animals - learning each of their little or large personalities!! Here are some of them!

Jay - as he is a rescue, he was naturally nervous at first but has really shown his true colours while in my care, having daily zoomies and just coming up to me for cuddles!
Ollie - along with Jay, we have been getting used to eachother over the past week and it has been a blast! He is so loving and playful but when you put them together they can be a bit mischievous 😂
Opie - this beautiful boy is sooo loving , he loves to be brushed and he may even like it better than his treats 😂! While he wasn’t allowed outside, he certainly let me know but was a good boy about it nonetheless
Mynx - I love caring for Mynx! She’s super cuddly and just loves giving and receiving affection! Every time I come home covered in her hair from her cuddles but it’s worth it!
Fred + coco - this bundle of fun, energy and cuddles does make me smile each week! Fred tends to be a very curious dog who is always sniffing while coco just wants to walk forwards and the stop for a cuddle 😂 they often remind me of my pair!
Cassie + coco - these two sisters are the cutest thing! Every time I come over they always waiting in the window for me then jump on me as soon as I walk through the door! Truly are little angels to walk as well!
Henry + Eddie - while these two may live in separate homes, they are often together during the week! They do make the perfect pair even if Eddie likes to nibble at Henry’s ears 😂 truly are amazing dogs to walk each week

Hey everyone! With the immense heatwave we are having I will not be taking any dogs out past 9am. Hope you all understand! Please keep your pups indoors! Even 9 is too late I believe but I’m helping with two pups who I will be taking down the farm track with a water bottle due to the pavement being too hot for them.


To keep all dogs safe during periods of high temperatures, all walks will temporarily be shortened or changed to drop in visits instead.

These visits will include:
💧Fresh water top ups
🧊Cooling down and comfort checks
🐾Toilet breaks in the garden
🎾Indoor play, enrichment and fuss
❤️Welfare checks

So fortunate to be looking after these two pretty kitties this for the next week! These beautiful babies may be very different but are both perfect in each of their own ways!

It’s my first time caring for opie and although I’ve only seen him once so far, I am absolutely in love! He is truly amazing! With those glimmering eyes in the sun, this cat truly is gorgeous 🐈‍⬛

And little Mynx! I always really enjoy caring for Mynx as she purely is a bundle of joy! She is always meowing round my feet and cuddling up on my lap and sitting in the window 😂 can’t wait for the week ahead!

Over my lifetime I’ve looked after so many different kinds of animals which you can see in the pictures below! And these are only the small ones 😂 so whether or not you have a reptile, small fluffy friend, a feathered duck or chicken or an adorable dog or cat… use Paws & Claws to help you with their needs!

Not everyone is at home All of the time and not everyone is able to walk their dog in the day or care for their pet properly! That’s why I’m here to help! I’ve been doing this business for almost three years now and I have absolutely loved it! I can’t wait for the months ahead where I am caring for so many new faces as well as old!!

Early morning kitty mischief!! These little ones have been helping me wake up earlier 😂 always ready for a new adventure with these three girls. Mia is warming up to me again slowly while Lua and Dora are always coming up for cuddles and fuss!! Well done girlies, enjoy the food!! A fresh food bowl and litter tray ought to start the day well!! What a fun packed week it has been!

These little bundles of joy, chaos and mystery have really been amazing this week!
Mia has really come out of her comfort zone when coming near to me without panicking, even letting me pet her after a couple of days! She is now the most cuddly little cat ever 😂

Dora and Lua and little trouble makers but do definitely bring some joy init he household! The two are always playing together whether it be with toys or fighting 😝 and are very affectionate all of the time. (Especially dinner time!)

I want to say a massive thank you to her owner Julie and her daughter Katrina Wainwright for making meeting these cats possible. And a big thank you for my presents from abroad!! I have loved my time with your furry children and hope to see them again soon!

What a fun start to the week!
With some beautiful cats to look after all week, I am having great fun in learning about each of them as the days go by!
These amazing kitties each have their own traits that make them so so special and loving, even if one may be a little shy!! Can’t wait for a week of cat filled fun!
As well as this, I have been taking piper out for lots of training sessions and fun at the park, her progress has really shown and she is doing amazing!
Dougal, this amazing little old boy just fills my heart with joy! We went out for something to eat with him in tow and although he had to odd whine, he was a good boy nonetheless!
We also went for a visit for our fluffy friend, shadow! The fluffiest of girls, she is always shedding and has so much love to give!

Lots of amazing walks in the sun today! Some long hours with all of these pups which was very enjoyable!
First up was Cassie and coco! These two girls are absolutely fabulous and are always angels for me! Can’t wait for a week with these pair!!
Next up was Fred and coco! These cheeky dogs are always well behaved but also a little mischievous! With some barks and sniffs, these pair really enjoyed their walk today with some cuddles in between!
And last up was piper! What an angel of a dog! Always wanting to run, play fetch and have fun with other people and dogs! With some good training sessions, she is really showing progress with her new skills and tricks! Lots of compliments always come her way when she is out at the park!

Hope everyone has a great half term and week! Sorry for not posting, been very busy!! Thank you everyone! Xx. 🐾🐾
