Hey, it’s nice to meet you! (Insert big wave here) My name is Steph. I'm based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire and specialise in On-Location & At-Home Pet Photography within Warwickshire and the surrounding areas. I am a reluctant runner, occasional baker, sometimes paper artist, pyjama enthusiast aaaand pet photographer! If you’ve made it to this page, my guess is you share my appreciation for pets and

Some of the most memorable photos I have of my pup were taken on my phone before I’d ever picked up a camera. There is nothing more meaningful than those snapshots of little moments and the joy you get from scrolling through your albums. Whilst phones can produce some brilliant images these days, there is nothing quite like seeing the furry centre of your world printed and framed on your wall. I’m so so excited and honoured to be the one to capture the beautiful bond that you share with your pet with memories that will last a lifetime. Autumn’s best feature! A hint of golden mid-morning light paired with the oh so handsome golden, good boy Geoff as he takes a moment to watch the squirrels 😍
A lot of people wait for Summer for their sessions when the world is in bloom, but this turn into stick season is totally worth waiting for with its array of colour and stunning lighting. This beautiful change of season gives us a variation of grasses that have slowly dried through the summer to shoot in, a splash of browns, reds & oranges to play with and that heavier dark green of evergreens starting to come out strong. 🍁
This fab pawtrait is one that Geoff’s Dad has chosen as an 8x10” Desk Frame to enjoy his favourite boy.

Here’s an Autumny SneakyPeek of Teddy, Bowen & Bello for their hoomans!
These boys blow my mind every time with their ability to be sniffing and exploring one moment, posing beautifully for their adoring dogtog the next. They’re so in tune with hoolady & hoodad and each other, it’s quite a sight to see!
We’ve been working together for a seasonal collaboration this year with a Summer shoot and now a beautiful Autumnal shoot. Which of course meant pumpkins. The colour of brown fallen leaves, golden green trees complement Bello’s chestnut sheen, and Bowen & Teddy’s treacle coloured coats perfectly.

Here’s a sneaky peek of Cooper, Prime & Titch for mum, Toni & sister, Nola!
This session filled me with the warm and fuzzies big time even though it was a lightly chilly, foggy day. Seeing goodest boys 5yo Cooper & 1.5yo Titch’s adorning gazes as they listened intently to Mum’s commands was a real treat. Their job on this day was to sit patiently or jump over logs for the lady on the floor, so they were going to do it very well (though Coop may have sometimes decided that he had a different job to do 😉)
13yo Prime is the sweetest gentlepup you ever did see. Toni describes him as her ‘Old Faithful’ having spent many years with him as her shadow. He’s used to posing for so he knew exactly how to melt my heart with those big eyes 😍. But don’t be fooled, this lovely senior is tough as nails!
Cooper is ‘bat 💩 crazy’ but oh so sweet. All he wanted in the world was to carry his dummy carefully through the woods. He can do 2hrs of obedience and still be raring to go for another walk 😂
Titch is ‘the biggest Titch you’ll ever see’. If he was human, he’d be a rugby player. He’s very kind and also sweet and would a make a great Care Giver

A little goodbye to the gentlest of souls, Jessie. I met this lovely lady not long after I’d moved to Warwickshire at a time when I was finding my feet and exploring new locations.
Her fun loving and sweet nature made for a beautiful session amongst the late bluebells and dandelion clocks of 2022. It was a joy to see her love for her Mum & Dad and see how content she was pottering around the woodlands & fields with them.

Here’s a sneaky peek of good boy Geoff for Mum, Hayley & Dad, James.
You can have the best laid plans going into a session, but when you pup stops, drops & chews, you’ve gotta do the same (well, maybe not the chewing 😂).
1yo Golden boy Geoff was the absolute star of the park! Many people & pups couldn’t resist saying Hi to this friendly, handsome chap, as he commando crawled his way into everyone’s hearts.
When Geoff decided he had other plans involving squirrels and bush diving, Mum, Hayley asked if he was too young to have a session at only one. However there really isn’t a required age or a even a preferred age.
Each pup has their own PAWsonality whether silly or serious, brimming with confidence or shy & considered. We’re here to capture whatever they’re happy to show us on their big day and there is nothing better than your pup being themselves on shoot in all their chaotic or dorky glory.
Yes, we have a list of shots we’re hoping to achieve, but they are more guidelines to make sure we know we’ll get a beautiful, frame worthy pawtrait for you.
Geoff has the absolute best sit, which is wonderful for photos, but this moment of sheer happiness to lie down and indulge in stick goodness is pure gold 🤩.
‘Geoff once chased a mountain biker in Newbold Comyn the whole way around the track including the jumps! I have never seen anything like it! He was taking the corners like a pro and flying through the air - luckily they saw the funny side and were actually impressed with how fast he was’ - Mum, Hayley

Here’s a sneaky peek of gorgeous older gent, Oscar for Mum Katie & dad Matthew 🥰.
The best thing about senior pups is that they know what they want. Quite often they’re stubborn, determined and can’t be tricked with a high pitched surprises gasp like those youngsters 😱. Their set in stone pawsonalities shine through and 11yo Oscar had us giggling throughout his session.
It’s not often a pup turns their nose up at the treats I have to offer, but this sweet chap was determined to make me work for him. We had several bottom shots as a result but eventually my salami won him over and we finished with a lovely bum scratch at the end of his session( his bum, not mine 🤭)
Here he is strutting his stuff through the fern like the suPAWstar he is.
‘I like to think of myself as a guard dog but I’m a big softy! I sit at the front of the house in the window watching people go past. I often have a little snooze on the back of the sofa near the window as being in guard tires me out!

I bark when someone approaches or enters the house, but all I want is a bit of attention.

I am most happy when I’m fussed or curled up next to my humans and a belly rub doesn’t go amiss! I paw you when you stop fussing me as I don’t want you to forget about me!’

Well pet pawrents, I think it’s safe to say, we’re officially launched in Autumn now! 🍂
Summer has been thoroughly enjoyable this year and I’m sad to see it pass, but Autumn brings a whole treat of colours and opportunities to play with your pawtraits.
Take Miss Nova, for example, who allowed her Aunt Tamsin to serenade her with beautiful, crisp leaves …several times, to create this lovely Autumnal pawtrait in exchange for many, many, many treats.

A big thank you to the International Pet Photography Awards for awarding me a Bronze for this simple photo of Chilli Bean on a beautiful day at Hartshill Hayes.
It’s incredibly humbling to see the insane level of craftsmanship and creativity amongst the highest ranks of entries and incredible winners.
As much as I love the sessions I have with pet pawrents, I think it’s definitely my sign to become more playful with portraits and create rather than focus only on controlling the narrative of our time together.

Here’s a sneaky peek in memory of lovely Minnie for mum Pauline.
It’s been a difficult few months of sad news and as tough as it is to say goodbye to Minnie, this sneaky peek is a celebration of the loveliest little lady and her ginormous zest for life.
Whether you’d known her 10minutes or a year, Minnie had plenty to say to you always. Having been rescued at 6yo, she made it to a steady 12 yrs as Mum’s ever faithful sidekick.
In true chihuahua / pug (aka Chug) style, Minnie was queen of the household and knew just how she liked things. We had her session at home as she was most comfortable in her own space. Though she was wary of the lady with salami and a camera the same size as her, this wise ol gal knew that the more she gave me The Look, the more the salami came out.
Sadly, with several niggles over the past few months, Minnie quietly passed on Friday.
A very heartfelt goodbye to such a special lady. 🕊️ ❤️ 🐾

This space is reserved for sweet sweet Zara, who sadly passed very unexpectedly just a week after her session. She was the happiest lady you ever did see, with a nose for cheese and an easy going nature that had your own tail wagging in response.
Hearing that a fur family has lost their furry heart is by far one of the hardest parts of the industry that you don’t even begin to consider when becoming a Dog Tog. It sounds like great fun to be spending a few hours with bouncy, beautiful pups, fishing out treats and collecting slobbery kisses and it absolutely is!!
But the real value and the real reason that Pet Photography holds such importance as a service to you is that our four legged loved ones unfortunately will not be with us always. Sometimes they are taken sooner than they should, and others we can see from that slow and gentle plod that it is almost time for them to go. Either way, it’s an awful heartache to hold knowing what our fur families are going through when we get that message. Along side that heavy soul that comes from hearing such news is a hint of gratitude to have been able to spend some time with them & capture their pawsonalities in print before their passing.
Phones are great for capturing those little in between moments and keeping that sweet face recorded on your Instagram grid is a comfort, but it will never not be worth getting that ‘one good photo’ that forever gives you joy.
Your pawtraits hold the memory of your gorgeous pup and you should absolutely be able to enjoy & cherish them everyday as you move through your hallways and living rooms, as you glance over at your bookcase or grab the sticky note on from you office desk. Especially when that sweet furry smile is no longer looking at you from your side. 🌈 🐾
