The summer house is finally up in the garden 🙌 thanks to my dad for helping make it happen.

As you can see, I’m half way through painting it 🖌️🫟It’s still a work in progress, but I can already picture evenings spent out there, Rosie playing, family time, and maybe even a quiet cuppa when I need 5 minutes to myself.

It’s a bit like business, really. You don’t always see progress every single day, but when you step back and look at how far you’ve come, you realise it’s all adding up to something you’re proud of 🥰

This summer we decided to keep things simple, no flights, no hotels, just us, our van, and a tent box.

We’ve camped in Wales, driven through Scotland, and taken in the beautiful views of the Lake District. Rosie has loved the adventure, and I’ve loved slowing down, getting outdoors, and realising that sometimes the best memories are made in the simplest ways.

It wasn’t always easy (camping with kids never is!), but it reminded me that I value freedom and flexibility more than anything. That’s true for family life, but it’s true in business too ❤️

The last 6 weeks have been… a lot! School holidays are always a juggle, but when you’re a mum to a little girl who’s autistic and running a business at the same time, it takes it to a whole new level.

Rosie’s been at work with me most days, which hasn’t been easy. Some days have been really tough, and other days I’ve been so proud of how we’ve both managed.

What it’s really shown me is the importance of flexibility in business. This summer I’ve leaned more on teeth cleaning than full grooming, and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver. It’s less physically demanding, it’s fitted around our days, and it’s supported me through a really busy season.

I’m proud of us both for making it work 💕

Over 80% of dogs will have some form of dental disease by the age of 3. The good news is, it’s mostly preventable.
That’s why I’m so passionate about getting teeth cleaning on a schedule, right alongside grooming. Prevention is always kinder (and easier) than cure.
For me, it’s not just about shiny smiles, it’s about giving dogs longer, healthier lives.

Sundays are for slowing down a little. 🌿

This year has taught me that it’s okay to pause, reset, and rebuild life and business in a way that feels right. Between family, moving house, and everything else going on, I’ve learned that success isn’t about rushing - it’s about balance.

That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do with dogs. Gentle, preventative care - like regular teeth cleaning alongside grooming - is all about giving them the best life possible, without stress or fuss.

The same goes for us too, doesn’t it? Finding the calm in the chaos, and taking care of the little things that make the biggest difference. 💛
