I've had quite a few questions recently about red light mats and 3B lasers, so I thought I'd share my thoughts.

While they may have their place, I don't currently use or recommend , in my opinion they cannot consistently deliver the therapeutic dose needed for effective treatment.

Successful laser therapy isn't just about using the correct wavelength. When it comes to laser therapy, wavelength is only one part of the equation. Effective treatment also depends on factors such as irradiance (power density), energy delivered (J/cm²), power output, and direct tissue contact—supported by robust clinical research.

This is why I use Class 4 laser therapy, which is supported by clinical studies and delivers the treatment parameters needed to help patients effectively.

Looking forward to meeting everyone Monday. 😀

Good morning people!! We are into the final few days now. The weather looks amazing, however, the temperatures are looking on the warmer side. Please can i remind folks that animals and heat are not buddies. So we have a paddling pool set up for dogs to get into in shade, there are taps outside the cafe for fresh water, be mindful of your dogs paws and panting. Luckily we are on grass in a rather exposed area so there will ikely be a decent cross breeze. HOWEVER..... the local forecast from the met office is reading 27 degrees, the feels like temp is 22. IF the temps get over 24 then we will be very closely monitoring how long its likely to be high and if need be will ask pets and animals to go home. We are not able to function over 24 degrees, so get there early and enjoy the cooler temps!!! Stalls cafe and talks still happening. Bring brollies for shade. Gates open at 10 for viewing buyers and drop in. Looking forward to MONDAY!!!!

Sabrina had her laser session today at Staveley Vets! She was a superstar and the team there are fab! I have noticed a difference already in her mobility which is amazing, especially since this is her 2nd session!

Another wonderful nurse who does laser therapy but in your own home is Gemma Belton with Gem animal health who I would also highly recommend!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to scrub in and assist with an orthopaedic operation alongside one of the best surgeons I’ve worked with.

He took the time to explain every step of the procedure, and we also discussed the patient’s pain management and rehabilitation plan following surgery — which will include Class 4 laser therapy to help reduce pain and inflammation, while accelerating the healing process.

Using a multimodal approach to recovery can make a huge difference, helping patients recover more comfortably and return to living a normal, happy life.

I am very lucky to be able to use my nursing skills and my laser therapy to support these patients

A week to go before we attend a great charity event.

We have been treating a horse with cellulitis caused by trauma to the hind limb. Alongside veterinary treatment, we have been using Class 4 laser therapy to support recovery.🐴🐴🐴🐴

Class 4 laser therapy can help horses with cellulitis by reducing inflammation and swelling, improving circulation and lymphatic drainage, easing pain and discomfort, and promoting faster tissue healing.
