Office a Thank you for your interest in Goldendrops Bee Farm.

We are beekeepers with passion and education / Mariusz Chudy is a certified Master Beekeeper. We have so much in common with bees that we had to start our own beekeeping business! We are a family business and as a family business, we believe that we can give you what you need individually and if you are a beekeeper already we will help you succeed. Our adventure with bees began in 1994. We alone b

uild most of our mechanical devices and made all bee hives. From year to year we are trying to broaden our knowledge base and the bee farm. We are trying that everything we do is in accordance with the nature / use only natural methods forvarroasis illness - we do not use chemicals /. We have rotating selection and breeding building on proven selection of our own mothers from Carnica line and Buckfast line. Our goal is to provide the highest quality products at a reasonable price, help novice beekeepers and bees rescue honey-bee. We are open to new things as well as co-operation on the broad sense. In our extensive product range; we hope that you will find something for yourself, be satisfied with your purchase and hopefully come back to us again. ..

At Goldendrops Apiary, every year, in addition to honey, we also collect bee pollen.

People familiar with beekeeping know exactly why it is so highly valued. But do you? Do you know why bees collect it and why people have been using it for centuries?

Write your answer in the comments. We’re curious to see how many people know the correct answer.

It’s such a lovely feeling when a robin greets me in the morning and comes back again in the evening to say goodbye 🧑🐦
He already knows that at Goldendrops Nottingham apiary there’s always something tasty waiting for him
This little visitor has become part of our daily routine. He flies in regularly, sits nearby, and patiently waits. Such a tiny bird, yet he can brighten the day more than a morning coffee β˜•πŸŒΏ
Moments like these remind us that nature is always close β€” we just need to slow down enough to notice it.

🐝 When working with bees, there’s always a lack of a third hand, especially when you want to record something πŸ˜„

Now it’ll be a bit easier because I’ve got a holder that will keep my phone in place while I work in the apiary πŸ“±
Maybe now I’ll finally manage to record more real videos from my work without all the struggling.

This time while moving queen cells into the incubator 🐝πŸ”₯

Anyone who works with bees knows it’s hard to do everything alone and still record at the same time πŸ˜…Bee farm

Today while working with flower pollen, I had a pretty clever little helper πŸ”
It just sat next to me and kept picking out wax moth larvae β€” more accurately than I did πŸ˜„
You try your best, and then nature steps in and does it better.
No chemicals, no fuss.
Didn’t expect that kind of help while working in the apiary.

🐝 First queen cells in the incubator
Today in our apiary we placed the first queen cells in the incubator. This marks the start of the queen rearing season and the beginning of an intensive work period. The next batch will go in 3 days, and after that we follow a consistent routine: regularity, precision, and control at every stage.
Queen rearing requires experience and patience. The quality of this process directly affects colony strength and the overall performance of the apiary during the season.
Now we wait for successful emergence and strong, healthy queen bees.

We’re starting our annual Buckfast queen bee breeding 🐝

At Bee Farm Goldendrops Nottingham, the new season is officially underway. Tomorrow we begin the first larval grafting, and today is all about final preparations – setting wax cups ready for queen rearing.

The weather is on our side – sunshine, calm conditions, and steady work in the apiary. A good start to building strong, productive colonies for the season ahead.

Buckfast queen breeding remains a key part of modern beekeeping, supporting performance, temperament, and colony health.

The weather is finally settling, our bee colonies are strong, and everything is pointing towards a great start. In about a week, we’ll be launching our queen rearing programme for 2026.
If you’ve been thinking about improving your apiary, raising your own queens, or simply deepening your beekeeping knowledge β€” now is the perfect time to get involved.
