We have rotating selection and breeding building on proven selection of our own mothers from Carnica line and Buckfast line. Our goal is to provide the highest quality products at a reasonable price, help novice beekeepers and bees rescue honey-bee. We are open to new things as well as co-operation on the broad sense. As every year, we are finishing queen rearing due to wasps. They are everywhere. The last mated bee queens for new hives are available on our website: www.goldendrops.co.uk.

When we collect our mated queens 🐝👑, the remaining bees from smaller colonies can be combined into one strong starter hive. So yes — even in this heatwave 🔥☀️, we’re still buzzing with activity and good humour! 😄

I have a deep love for nature, bees and everything connected to that world. Spending time in nature each day gives me the energy and inspiration to keep going. 🐝💚

But life is also about balance — and I always make time for life’s little pleasures. One of my favourites is feeding a pair of robins 🐦, woodpeckers 🐦‍⬛ and other beautiful birds that visit my garden.

Homemade Bee Pollen Dryer – Straight from Our Apiary!

We’ve had loads of questions lately about our DIY pollen dryer, so here are the details:

Built at home with experience and care:

Wheeled base – easy to move and always face the sun.

Air circulation powered by a fan, which runs on a solar panel – fully off-grid and eco-friendly!

16 trays allow us to dry up to 200 kg of pollen at once.

Even though the heat tins have shifted a bit, they still warm the air efficiently, and the pollen dries beautifully.

The drying temperature stays around 32°C, helping to preserve all the natural goodness in the pollen.

It works amazingly – simple, effective, and energy independent!

My homemade pollen dryer is running at full speed!

A busy day at our apiary!
Today we not only trained future beekeepers, but also took care of our bees.
In the first video, you’ll see a hive inspection – checking the condition of our colonies and the development of the queens.
In the second video, we are populating mating nucs – these small hives are where our young queen bees will prepare for mating!
