*********NOTICE *************

Please note from 1st January 2023 we will only be reserving five kennels a week for holiday dogs.

This is due to the increase in need for boarding this year we are unable to continue to have as many boarders.

This means if you require kennel space you will have to book in as early as possible to avoid any disappointment.

This will be on a first come first served basis

Also due to the rising costs we are incurring we will be increasing the fees from 1st January 23 so it will be £20 for a single dog a day and £30 a day for two dogs, any dogs collected after 1230pm will need to pay for a full day.

Many thanks

John, Judith and the CCK Team xx

We are planning some events this year both at the kennels and different venues and are looking for friendly, chatty, fun loving, besotted greyhound owner who would like to volunteer to help us to raise funds and talk to the general public at these events in various areas, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and beyond.

We will pay travel expenses on receipt of petrol receipts

It is hard work because we have to set up stalls and pack away so not for the faint hearted and its usually a full day of volunteering but it is also worthwhile knowing that you are helping look after our greyhounds until they find their forever homes.

We are looking for people who can:

Help on stalls selling greyhound merchandise
Help with dog shows for registration for classes, runners to help the judges, help on the stalls
Help with car boots
Sell raffle tickets collections
Collections
Help with barbecues

Organise some walks in their areas

If you think you might be interested please let us know and we will have a chat about what you would like to help us with. You can email us at [email protected]

Many thanks

John and Judith

Judith has been moved to another ward but is still under critical care.

Her recovery is underway but a little slow at the moment. All is as expected but as you can imagine very tiring.

We know you all love her as much as we do but please could I ask that you don’t contact her as you can understand she is only using her phone for family and friends.

If you would like to chat or speak with us please call John or the kennels on 07734052659 or 01636822032.

Till our Queen 👸🏼 of the kennels arrives home, Tracey and Tara are keeping an eye on things.
