Hot weather /Holiday announcement

Hello to all our customers and their pooches hope everyone is well and enjoying the Sun ☀ As its getting hotter the salon is getting very hot and the driers make it worse so we may ask to come in earlier if you can, if anyone can make 8am appointments that would be fab just let us know. We can also leave the dogs slightly damp so not to over heat anyone just not lots we can do im afraid with the temperature rising.🌡🌡
Up coming holidays 🏖🛫 just wanted to let you know of our holidays over the next few months.
Closed from the 25th July back in the salon on the 5th August
Closed from the 25th August back in the salon on the 3rd September
Closed for the day 10th October
Closed from the 20th October back in the salon the 27th October
Closed from the 3rd November back in the salon 5th November
Closed for the day 8th November
Closed from the 21st November back in the salon 24th November
Closed for the day 25th November.
Please get in contacted with any earlier starts you can do. Take care in the heat when walking the dogs as the tarmac will get very hot on their paws.

⛄Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!!⛄

From the team at D for dogs we would like to thank everyone who has given us Christmas gifts this year and wanted to wish everyone and their pups a very merry Christmas 🎄 and a fantastic New year it's been truly an eventful year we hugely appreciate you all and we look forward to seeing you all next year!! ❄️☃️🎅.

We will be having abit of an extended break this year spending time with friends and family so will be breaking up on the 23rd December and we will be back on the 7th January our first appointments are around the 20th January.

Hi to everyone just wanted to let you know we are closed for a week from the 26th October back open on the 5th November 🏖🛫. Currently we have the odd appointments before we break up but after that our availability is from the 12th November.

Hot weather announcement

Hi to all the hot weather is finally here!!💜🌞🌡so that being said the salon gets very hot towards the afternoon so we might message you to come in earlier where possible, if we do get too hot and you can't get in earlier we will have to move you to another day, if your happy for your dog to be left slightly damp in areas then let me know. Please when it is really hot out avoid walking them down to us if the road is very hot or they will get over heated. We will offer water while here as well. Many thanks Sarah and team

Just a little reminder that I'm on holiday 🏖️for a week from the 27th May back in on the 3rd June.
Rebekah is on maternity 🤱leave now so I have been locking the front door 🚪when I'm out the back bathing 🛁so please bare with me if I'm not in the front of the salon when you come back to collect or to drop off as I have to keep to a certain pace or I will get behind.

Currently we are booked up to till part way through July have the odd few spaces so if you do need to rearrange or book in it might be worth booking a few in advance so you get the dates you want.

Again bare with me with replying and calling back from voicemails I'm having to wait till I've finished for the day to do messages and call backs, reminders may not always be first thing in the morning as well and please make sure to confirm your coming so I don't need to chase you up.

We do have two new starters Elle is our new Saturday worker so you will probably have seen her now she is in training to be a dog groomer and Alicia also in training is due to start in June so lots of things happening.

And finally I'm slowly working my way through the price increases a few have slipped through as we now have a starting price of £35. I have constantly tried to keep pricing to a reasonable level but due to rising costs it has had to go up after only having an increase once in a good 10 years, just for my equipment alone its getting high I paid £250 for my scissors and blades to be sharpened yesterday that's every 2 or 3 months not to mention shampoos , electric and just wages as well, I feel our prices are still very reasonable for a skilled profession. So that being said please if you do get a price increase try not to stretch out your appointment further apart if at all possible as this leaves me with the possibility of a matted up coat or a longer thicker coat (drying time)to try to deal with that I will end up having to charge you extra for (matts blunt my blades and scissors alot quicker).

We will be closed from Saturday 20th April until Monday 29th April.

27th May until 3rd June

Our next available appointments are currently week commencing 11th June onwards. Saturday appointments are end of June/beginning of July.
