Some personal news, after ten years of running our sister company Young Woofians, I’ve made the very tough decision to close this part of the business due to personal circumstances.

Young Woofians started with my beloved Miss Teddy and grew into something truly special, thousands of tear-free, happy pups and a wonderfully loyal customer base 🐶❤️

Our final stock of all-natural tear stain treatment kits, cloths and accessories is now available online, once it’s gone, it’s gone.

But here’s the good news: Miss Teddy isn’t going anywhere! I’ll be continuing to create beautiful handmade dog clothes over on Etsy. So if you’ve loved our outfits, come with us to the next chapter 🧵🐾

Wobble, wiggle, woof! Jelly Baby Miss Teddy is here and she’s sweeter than a whole bag of treats!

Which Jelly Baby colour is your favourite? We’re obviously team ‘fluffy pastel pup’!

Fun facts:

1. Born in Britain:

Jelly Babies were first made in Lancashire, England around 1864 by a confectioner named Fryers of Lancashire. They were originally called “Unclaimed Babies” — not exactly sweet!

2. Renamed for peace:

In 1918, they were rebranded by Bassetts to mark the end of World War I and were renamed “Peace Babies.” Production was halted during WWII due to rationing, but they returned in 1953 as Jelly Babies.

3. Each has a name and personality:

In the 1980s, Bassetts gave each Jelly Baby a character:

Boofuls (purple): cries a lot
Bigheart (green): kind and loving
Bubbles (yellow): happy and bubbly
Baby Bonny (red): wears a bonnet
Brilliant (orange): smart and sporty
Bumper (pink): always laughing

4. They’re not actually babies:

Despite their name, they’re not based on real babies! But their shape (and those little tummies!) gave them their name — plus, they’re dusted in starch which makes them look powdered like a baby’s bottom!

Some Bunny loves you 🐰Happy Easter, 🐣 my wonderful friends!

Its been a while since we posted – we’ve been super busy helping out over at young_woofians with our all natural tear stain treatment…. But don’t worry, we still make adorable dog clothes too and all our outfits are available on our Etsy shop: MissTeddy.Etsy.com ( we have made an aunt Lucy outfit to go with our Paddington ensemble.
