🎓 I'm educated to Degree (Hons

) level and proudly hold City & Guilds qualifications in Dog Grooming, including Canine Health, Safety & First Aid, alongside my years of practice. At Sue’s Paws, we groom to your requirements, ensuring every dog is treated with the same love and care we give our own. Our home-based salon in Nottingham offers a calm and welcoming space for your pup to be pampered.

🐶 We never rush. If your dog is nervous or a puppy, we’ll take extra time to help them feel safe and build trust. Water and toilet breaks are always available to keep them comfy and relaxed.

📋 Terms & Conditions:
Matted coats: If your dog is severely matted, you may be asked to sign a consent form allowing a full clip-off. A surcharge may apply depending on severity, at the groomer’s discretion. Fleas: Dogs with fleas will incur an additional £5 charge to cover salon treatment. Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Missed appointments without notice will be charged the full fee.

We have our very large family cat gone missing. He wouldn't usually venture far as elderly so thinking he might be stuck over a fence. Hes on meds for his kidney so we are really worried for him. Please look out in your sheds n gardens for him. Many thanks xx

Thanks to you all for your patience whilst I get my life into gear again! Its been a tough few months or even years come to think of it. Just about on track now. My mind is not as blown. My beautiful fluffy clients have helped dragged me through the hardest of times. Much love ❤️

I thought I'd be writing this in a decade not after 3 years.
Unfortunately I have suddenly and unexpectedly lost my baby Sherman.
Everyone who knew him is broken and shocked at the sudden loss.
Unfortunately large, deep chested breeds are prone to bloat which fortunately I knew the signs of. I got him straight to the vet where he underwent surgery and all was okay until it wasn't. Complication after complication. He needed surgery again but his own body was against him in so many ways.

When owning any animal please ensure you have good insurance and do research on the breed to know what they're prone to and familiarise yourself with the symptoms. Bloat can kill in as little as 30 minutes so knowing the signs and acting straight away gave him a fighting chance. If your animal acts differently in any way and there's any cause for concern please get to the vet ASAP.

After spending 27 years in homes covered in hair and multiple paws it's naturally going to take me a while to adjust. Afterall, what kind of dog groomer doesn't have a dog?

I'm still working but I wanted to let you know, firstly for awareness on sudden sickness and secondly because I may look like 💩 warmed up at times and start crying if you ask me how I /Sherman is😅
