🎓 I'm educated to Degree (Hons

) level and proudly hold City & Guilds qualifications in Dog Grooming, including Canine Health, Safety & First Aid, alongside my years of practice. At Sue’s Paws, we groom to your requirements, ensuring every dog is treated with the same love and care we give our own. Our home-based salon in Nottingham offers a calm and welcoming space for your pup to be pampered.

🐶 We never rush. If your dog is nervous or a puppy, we’ll take extra time to help them feel safe and build trust. Water and toilet breaks are always available to keep them comfy and relaxed.

📋 Terms & Conditions:
Matted coats: If your dog is severely matted, you may be asked to sign a consent form allowing a full clip-off. A surcharge may apply depending on severity, at the groomer’s discretion. Fleas: Dogs with fleas will incur an additional £5 charge to cover salon treatment. Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Missed appointments without notice will be charged the full fee.

Although I'm not working I'm still learning and reading up on everything dog!. For those of you who go on long walks with your dogs would you know how to treat minor injuries? Sophie Bell is a vet and has a wealth of engaging webinars which are really informative on lots of topics like Speying & Neutering & other Dog health issues. Really worth a look:)

Soon I’ll be spaying my own dog Jelly. She will be around 2yrs 2months. Under 2.5 years lowers the risk of mammary cancer. I have allowed her to develop skeletally, sexually, and mentally. So now is the right time.

IF I left her entire I’d need to monitor for both mammary cancer (50% is malignant/nasty) and of course pyometra - pus in the womb. But neutering can also increase the risk of other cancers so balance and understanding of what to expect is important.

IF you keep you girl entire you NEED to be aware of this. Because it can be a killer if not treated ❤️

Hi All. I'm only 10 days into my recovery time & already climbing the walls!! I'm really trying to take it easy but my brain has done 3 marathons already haha. Thank you all for your well wishes and gifts & hoping to get some doggy kisses very soon :) ###

Hi it's Catherine, Sue's daughter here👋
As you're aware my mum has just had surgery and is off work for at least 8 weeks, due to the type of surgery it may take longer for her to be back at work and when she does feel able she will only be doing smaller dogs until she feels able to do the larger/more difficult ones.
I'm trying to juggle my own business and Sue's Paws but unfortunately I can not be in two places at once!

Quite a few clients need rearranging, rebooking and are waiting for an appointment.
Unfortunately I cant get you all in on the days I'm working at Sue's Paws but I can get you in in-between my own clients at my salon if you're able to travel out to me.

My business is Clinton's Dog Grooming and I'm located in Clipstone Village (30 minutes up the A164, around the corner from Centre Parcs/Sherwood Pines). I work 1:1 at home just like my mum so the environment you're use to will be exactly the same!
You can contact me on 07761211035 and I'll get back to you as soon as possible and can usually get you booked in within a couple of weeks.
I am however on holiday 24th-28th July and 27th September-9th October so please keep that in mind when booking in.

Surgery sorted at last!. All going well so far. My legs dont know what's hit them they never been flat for so long lol. Will update in few days. Thank you for being understanding and sorry for disruption xx

They have cancelled my operation for tomorrow morning. Which i am fuming about but hey ho could have been worse! Business continues as usual for now. Xx

As some of you know I've got my operation date come through! I will be off work for a few weeks. My daughter Catherine will cover as many as she can but has her own busy business to run along side helping mine so there maybe a delay.
Shorter trims maybe advisable for some of you, just until we can get back to normal.
Please bare with us we will do as much as we can but I do have to allow myself enough recovery time.
Thank you so much for your kind understanding & will be back to normal ASAP. Xx
