Well tongues are out and it’s too hot already .
Out at 5.45 this morning with my own dogs and just managed to get my too early bird walks in .
Pop ins for the rest of the day to make things comfortable for the fur babies .

I honestly can’t believe how many people I saw yesterday walking dogs in mid day in 30° heat and seeing thier dogs struggling 😡

Seeing as most of my regular dogs I walk are now very senior I will not be walking dogs for the next few days . I do not walk any dog when it gets to 22 degrees , so I will be exchanging dogs walks to pop-ins so we can just chill out in the garden for toilet breaks & have fuss times .

☀️ 🥵 It’s going to be EXTREMELY hot this week, reaching 33°C some days which is just bonkers! That is simply too hot for any dog to be out about in. Please, please leave your dogs at home with plenty of cooling aids to help keep their temperature down ♥️ Even a 5 minute walk down the road can leave them with burns on their pads and still risk serious heat stroke in such a short period. It literally isn’t worth the risk.

🐰 Let’s also not forget about the little ones - guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens etc… they too will be at major risk with this heat and it’s essential to keep them out of the sun. We will be doing more posts and stories on this, to give advice and hopefully bring more awareness 👍🏼

I am so in love with this little man ❤️
One of my favourite pop in visits I look forward to . Toby is 17 now and he really reminds me of my old girl Heidi 🥰
Blind as a bad but happy to just potter around sniffing for food .
I just love the OAP’s ❤️❤️❤️
And Tilly of course Tobys house mate , shes a very nervous little girl but she’s happy in her own little bubble but does love me when treats come out when she’s been outside for toilet break .

Skeg was on protest this morning on calling for him for his walk ! He’s not feeling it these days now he’s an old man .
A car trip to the park with Jessica changed his mind ❤️
