Timmy and family in Northern Spain Part II - La Médulas in El Bierzo (León), UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its beauty and uniqueness. This peculiar landscape, the largest open-pit gold mine in the entire historic Roman Empire, is now all black and smoky because of the appalling fires that are devastating the region these days. Timmy and his family could enjoy it some weeks ago in its prime, but sadly now is going to take a long time to see it again in all its splendour... For the ones who don't know, the vast majority of these forest fires are one way or another the result of human action. My land shattered, my heart shattered 🔥🔥🔥😔😔😔
