A new opportunity has arisen within our team for another volunteer member.

This is for a Sunday position (option to help on extra days if capable and willing).

The right candidate would have to be committed as ponies and horses are very hard work especially in bad weather.

This could be someone wanting to just be around them or someone wanting to work for a ride.

If you are wanting to work for a ride you must already have experience riding and confident in walk/trot/canter as these are not riding school ponies and horses and can be quirky.

Minimum age 12 years old. Please pm for more details.

Busy weekend! Bath day for Skye, Greg and Gem (pray that she stays clean long enough this time 😂 beginning to think she enjoys them, and they say Arabs are bad 🤔). An excellent workout with Ice, in a new working area, tractor baling, hay bales rolling down field, people in woodland and she was an absolute star! Elles working really hard with her and I'm proud of them both. But most amazingly she's dropped a steady 71kgs since coming back, still more to loose but slow and steady is better, lighter she gets the more she can be ridden. Hopefully will of shifted more off over winter and so next summer at a healthier weight ❤️

Hard life on the spring grass, roll on summer!

This is one of the hardest things I've had to write and it's broken my heart.

Sadly yesterday we lost Calli and she lost her fight. She never stopped fighting but today we had to let her go despite our efforts on every way of fighting but the kindest thing was to let her go.

You were my heart horse, and I'll never forget you and your memory will live on in your two daughters and grand daughter as long with the memories we shared together and the s**t times you got me through.

You will always be the queen of the yard and everyone that met you knew that as you demanded the way you wanted things even down to how wet you wanted your tea.

I would like to thank every person that was involved with today, without you all I don't think I would of coped and I'm grateful for your help with today.

There will never be enough time with you and I hate that you'll not be here with me.
