Hi everyone, Shannon here. Let me clear up a few things for everyone who likes a gossip… because clearly there’s a few of you out there that would like to slander Clare’s name and I’m not here to play that way.
Clare knows exactly how to use feritage for everyone’s information but I do it myself because I simply have more time than her. See all the kits you all get from us, they leave as friendly as they do because of MY two children. The amount of time, attention and love that go into these ferrets you all have no idea. There’s been many litters that I’ve helped hand raise, cared for throughout the night when sadly our jills milk just isn’t enough.
1. Pet homes only… means just that. PET HOMES ONLY. If you choose to breed from those kits we’ve given to you then what happens after that is purely on you, not on myself or Clare.
Pet homes are sometimes simply because I don’t want certain people breeding from my kits so no you don’t get to know any feritage numbers etc. Clare’s nice and gives people the benefit of the doubt, myself on the other hand.. no just means no.
2. Our kits are not “inbred” as some people like to keep suggesting. Have we had 2 oops litters in the space of 30+ years of breeding, yes. But we’ve been accountable. Have we had other “breeder” mess us over with their own “pairings” yes we have and then things have gone sideways and it seems to be all fingers pointed at Clare not the other breeders.
3. We’ve always said our kits can come back to us no matter what and we’ve had many returned to us in previous years. We are as open with you all as possible, nothing is “hidden” from any of you.
