Good afternoon to all of our customers,
We have been eagerly awaiting any news/guidance from the government as to whether we would be able to stay open under the new lockdown restrictions. So thank you for your patience!
Fortunately, we are now able to confirm we are able to stay open, but this is in a limited capacity and we are only able to open for the welfare of the dogs (welfare appointments). This means, if you feel your dog could quickly become a welfare case due to the nature of their coat, skin, nails etc we are happy to carry on with your appointment. Unfortunately, any other appointment which is not a welfare case, will have to be cancelled and rebooked after the lockdown is lifted. If you are unsure as to whether your dogs appointment would be a welfare appointment, please do give us a call and we will be happy to help guide you on this.
If your appointment is a welfare appointment, we are happy to carry on with this and we will be working under the following rules to keep everyone safe:
- Please adhere to COVID-19 social distancing at all times.
- DO NOT attend your appointment if you have symptoms/been in contact/live with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19.
- No customers arriving/collecting at the same time. We may need to move your appointment by 5/10 minutes to ensure this is possible, so please bear this in mind if we ask you to do so.
- if you arrive at the shop early/late please wait in your car on both drop off and pick up until your appointment time/collection, so there isn’t any overlap between you and the previous/next customer.
- we will not be allowing anyone to enter the shop. We will be using the back gate, which is located at the rear of the shop. We will meet you outside the back to collect your lovely pooch. They will of course be kept safe at all times and the back of the shop is as secure as the front. If you are unsure where to go, please give us a call.
BACS (bank transfer) payment is preferred to limit the changing over of cash and this must be sent before collection. If BACS is not possible, you may still pay in cash, but you must provide the correct amount, as no handling of cash should take place.
- if you feel you do not wish to travel to your appointment during this time we completely understand, please just let us know and we can reschedule for you.
Once again, thank you all for your patience and understanding during this time. We hope you all stay safe and look forward to seeing you all once normal service resumes!
Love the team at Bow Wow ###
