Hi everyone, just to let you know I am now taking grooming appointments again, so if you are looking to book in, speak to Sandy and ask regarding my availability or give me a call and we can make an appointment! Glad to be back 😄

Yet again, we have had to close and cancel appointments. This post explains perfectly why. I hope to be open again soon, but please be patient and as soon as it is safe to open we will do.

I feel like I’m stuck on repeat.

Lockdown 3.0 - We are closed with immediate effect.

Please consider all appointments cancelled for January and I will contact you all in due course, my brain is pickled tonight.

You’ll see some groomers open, and they’re not necessarily wrong, there are loopholes in the wording which states we may remain open for welfare rather than aesthetics but for me personally it’s crystal clear. Unless your dog missing their grooming appointment will have a detrimental effect on their health or wellbeing, it’s not worth it.

We will do our bit and hopefully we’ll see an end to this really soon 🤞🏻

If you need to take your dog elsewhere for a groom during this lockdown, I completely understand but I really hope you’ll be back to support us once we are open again.

Please be aware of this. These are nasty little things and cause a lot of pain.
If you notice any sign of grass seeds on your doggies feet, please get them to the vets ASAP ###

The x-ray on the left is of a foxtail tract that was injected with contrast medium to show just how far a foxtail can travel. The lesion between the toes of the foot on the bottom right is how these tracts will look to the naked eye. This is a great example of just how far foxtails can migrate in tissues.
