🐴🎉 Fun Fact Friday! 🎉🐴

Did you know horses have an incredible sense of hearing that can rotate nearly 180 degrees? 👂👀 Their big, mobile ears help them pick up sounds from all around — perfect for staying alert to any nearby rustle or whisper.

So when your horse’s ears are swiveling like tiny radars, they’re just tuning in to everything happening in their world!

Keep those ears clean and healthy — they’re a key part of your horse’s superpowers.

A big thank you to everyone who rode in today’s dressage at Easton College – what a fantastic day of competition!

We’ve made a small adjustment to the results after spotting an earlier scoring slip (turns out the judges aren’t perfect at every movement either 😅). The updated placings are now correct on this carousel.

📊 The series points system is also included, so you can see how the leaderboard is shaping up.

⚡ Don’t forget to book your place for the next legs of the series:
4th October 2025
1st November 2025

Well done again to all competitors – see you at the next one! 🎉🐎

🐴🎉 Fun Fact Friday! 🎉🐴

Did you know horses can sleep both standing up and lying down? 💤
Thanks to a special “stay apparatus” in their legs, horses can doze while standing—ready to bolt if needed! But for deep REM sleep, they still need to lie down and relax completely.

So if you ever catch your horse snoozing upright, they’re just taking a power nap like a pro!
Keep an eye on their sleeping habits—it’s a great way to check on their wellbeing.

🐴🎉 Fun Fact Friday! 🎉🐴
Did you know horses have the largest eyes of any land mammal? 👀 Their incredible vision lets them see almost 360 degrees around them — perfect for spotting a sneaky fly or that unexpected squirrel!
But here’s the catch: horses have a small blind spot right in front of their nose and directly behind them, so patience and gentle handling are key when working around their “blind zones.”
Keep those eyes bright and happy with regular check-ups — because seeing is believing!

✨ A day to remember at the Burghley Horse Trials 2025 ✨

Our college students had an incredible opportunity to step into the heart of world-class equestrian sport. From walking the iconic cross-country course to watching the elegance of dressage from the grandstand, every moment was both educational and inspiring.

The group toured the stables, gained unique insights from the yard manager on FEI rulings, and even connected with professional riders. A highlight? Meeting Piggy March, whose presence brought the excitement to another level! 🐎💫

This trip wasn’t just about spectating—it was about learning, experiencing, and being motivated by the very best in the sport. 🌍🎓
