Many of you will have met Sarah, the amazing lady who supplies the plants to the shop each year. Well she's just been on a holiday to Bali and we gave her £250 to spend on dog food for Bali Animal Welfare Association while she was there.

We lost a dear customer and friend recently. Shirley had supported the work we do right from the start, 10 years ago. Such a beautiful lady inside and out she will be dearly missed.
Her chosen charity for donations is Cats Protection and her two elderly cats are currently in their care. We have therefore donated £200 in memory.

Cubbing season is upon us. This is when hunts take out their dogs to practice the kill on fox cubs that are no longer underground, before the pack turn their sights to adult foxes. It is not only foxes that get torn to pieces it can be any wildlife that crosses their path, including deer, hares and even domestic cats.
We will continue to support the sab groups where we can. This includes donating £150 to a recently formed local group called the Waveney Hunt Saboteurs. The group needed equipment to be able to sab safely and lawfully, whilst recording evidence of the hunts activities.
We have also recently donated to two other groups and will continue to help protect out precious wildlife.

This week we have sent a delivery of equipment including seeds, puppy pads, meal worms, dog food and disinfectants to two wild animals and bird rescues we support, Every Feather and Linjoy Wildlife Rescue. We will continue to fundraise for the birds throughout the rest of July.

We have recently been collecting for the people of Ukraine. In the last couple of months these are the items we have sent over with Waites and Stone, a haulage company doing the wonderful job of delivering everything. The food was purchased from the sale of the plants we offer, thanks to Parnells Plants .
