PINK PAWZ DOG GROOMING SALON The "pAwesome" natural choice for your furry friend's pamper :-) I am a fully trained,professional dog groomer. Pink Pawz first opened it's doors 3rd July 2006.

Since that time The salon has gone from strength to strength. I really enjoy my work, and I hope you enjoy the results :-)

The weather forecast is looking very warm for the next few days so please be mindful. ....

☀️Do not leave your dog in a hot car.
☀️Make sure they always has access to cool shaded areas.
☀️Avoid exercising in the heat. Walk dogs first thing in the morning or in the evening and avoid walking on hot pavements.
☀️ Just like us humans, our pets can get sun burnt. You can use a pet safe sun cream and apply to your pet.
☀️It can be extremely dangerous for your animal to consume lots of salt water.
☀️ Lickimats are a great way to keep your pets cool and provide mental stimulation for them when it is not possible too walk your dog.
☀️Dog/cat friendly ice lollies and ice cream is a great way to keep your pet cool - You can always make your own.
☀️Make sure Rabbits and Guinea PIgs have shade in their hutches/runs and have access to water at all times.
☀️ Pavements can become hot enough to cause pain, discomfort or even burn your dogs paws. The best way to check if the temperature of a pavement is too hot for your dog is to place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws

Please be mindful and if you have any signs of heat stroke please seek veterinary attention straight away 💚
