Another big 'thank you' to Yaya Mores in France and Megan Marron over in California for helping me to do this project. The folks in the Velveteen Lops of Texas are a truly great resource too and are really helping to get Velveteen Lops standardized over in the USA. Here, I am hoping to achieve this over the coming few years and am talking to the British Rabbit Council and the Rare Varieties Rabbit Club as to how best to do this. To this end, I am also grateful to those people in the UK who are breeding, or hope to breed them soon. Here's some snaps of my little bunch as they grow.

So today, I just want to say a big 'thank you' to a man I have never met and most probably never will. Geoff Russell wrote this book and I picked up a copy shortly after I moved to East Anglia, where ironically he used to live. In this book was the first time that I had come across the Velveteen Lop and was smitten with the idea. Thanks Geoff!

Here is a little buck, that I have decided to 'run on' for now. Introducing 'Fabian Wonderful'. Fabian is a blue Velveteen Lop buck born here in the UK earlier this year. His measurements are 14" and 5 lbs. His favourite music is Irish Folk Music and likes nothing more than relaxing on a summer's evening and playing his Uilleann Pipes whilst sipping diet soda under a sycamore tree. As a keen amateur yachtsman Fabian's life goal is to sail empty-handed around the world where, as a brand ambassador for SPRAVATO, he hopes to bring peace, love and harmony to warring nations. Please show some love for Fabian!😁
