🌿🐾 We’re Home from Holiday! 🐾🌿

After an amazing break in the beautiful Peak District, I’m now back in the Green Paws office and picking up were we left off with your beautiful pets!

We had such a fantastic time exploring everything the Peak District has to offer – from climbing Thorpe Cloud, caving adventures, and wild swimming, to enjoying some incredible food along the way. 🏔️💦🍽️

Thank you for your patience while I was away. I’m now working through messages and enquiries and will be responding as quickly as possible.

📅 June availability is now very limited, but July still has plenty of availability for:

A polite reminder that, with the exception of microchipping appointments, I am no longer able to accept bookings with only one week’s notice. All other services now require a minimum of two weeks’ notice wherever possible. This helps me ensure I can provide the highest standard of care and manage my schedule effectively.

☀️ Weekend Heat Notice ☀️

With temperatures expected to exceed 25°C over the weekend, Green Paws will be taking visits a little more slowly and adjusting walks, yard visits and drop ins where needed to help keep everyone safe and comfortable.

This may cause some slight delays to usual visit times, but the wellbeing of both the pets in our care and ourselves while working in the heat is our top priority.

Walks may be shortened, moved to shaded areas, or replaced with garden play/toilet breaks where necessary to avoid pets overheating during the hottest parts of the day.

Extra water will be put out and fly spray rugs used where possible for livestock.

🐾 It’s been a busy few days travelling across North Norfolk visiting both new and returning clients for puppy microchipping appointments! 🚗💨

I’ve had the pleasure of microchipping a beautiful litter of chocolate dapple Dachshunds for a new client 🐶🤎 and also revisiting one of my lovely regulars to microchip her gorgeous litter of 5 Sprockers - where one adorable little girl still looking for her forever home! 🏡💕

This week continues to be busy with appointments booked in with some wonderful cat breeders who are once again trusting me to microchip their kittens. I’m always incredibly grateful for the continued support and repeat custom from breeders and pet owners across North Norfolk. 🐱❤️

Just a reminder that in the UK it is a legal requirement for all dogs to be microchipped, and from June 2024 it also became law for owned cats over 20 weeks old in England to be microchipped and registered with up-to-date contact details. Microchipping is a quick, safe and permanent way to help reunite pets with their owners should they ever go missing. 🐾

Planning a getaway this half-term or need support caring for your pets while you’re away? I currently have availability for both small animal home visits inc chickens, birds & exotics and feline home visits 🐱🐰

With a background in animal nursing and a City & Guilds qualification in pet sitting and another in animal care, you can feel confident that your pets are in experienced and caring hands.

I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, understanding their individual needs, routines, and personalities.

I also have a wealth of experience working with cats of all characters and dispositions — from shy and nervous felines to confident and energetic companions — ensuring each cat receives patient, tailored care in the comfort of their own home.

Meet Pip 🐾💚

We’re so excited to welcome this lovely girl as a new member of the Green Paws Pack! Pip has already settled right in and is clearly a big fan of our trail walks—plenty of sniffs, wagging tails, and happy adventures all around.

I can’t wait to spend more time getting to know her favourite routes and the toys that make her happiest 🐶✨

What better way to finish up with Maxi, Doris, Eric, and the chickens than on a lovely sunshine-filled Friday? ☀️🐔

It’s been such a pleasure taking care of these guys who are regular & long standing clients with Green Paws — I have been keeping everything in check from cleaning out litter trays to topping up feeders and refreshing their water. Safe to say they’ve been very well looked after (and thoroughly enjoyed the attention too!).

Hi everyone 👋

As many of you know, I’m finally returning to work tomorrow after my accident. I’m so grateful for all of your support and patience during April — it really means a lot.

To help me manage my workload and maintain a better balance going forward, I’m putting a few guidelines in place:

🐾 Invoices & Payments
All invoices will now be sent out on Fridays. If payment is overdue by one week, a reminder will be issued. Continued non-payment may result in services being paused until payment is received.

🐾 Contact Hours
I will not be available for general admin enquiries after 6pm. This does not include pet sitting updates or holiday-related communication — those will always come first. This boundary is just to help me switch off and maintain some personal time.

🐾 Dog Walk Bookings
Due to an increase in regular clients, I’m no longer able to accommodate week-in-advance dog walking bookings from the end of May. To secure a regular slot or indeed a ad hoc walk, bookings will need to be made at least a month in advance unless special reason is given.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support — it allows me to keep doing what I love while also looking after myself 💚🐶🐴
