SEEKING A NEW HOME..(posting on behalf of a customer) please note Bertie must be homed with no other animals, and if I dont know you already a home check/meet up will be required by Berties owner or myself💖

Bertie is a beautiful 5 and a half year old male Colourpoint British Shorthair (full Pedigree papers and neutered).

He is friendly and has a lovely nature with people. He got on well with our old cats until we lost them, and originally was fine with the younger ones, but he has now became very aggressive with the two young cats.

After more tha a year of trying to resolve the problem we are now in a situation where have to keep the cats separated 24/7. We are alternating between my husband spending time with the other two cats and me with Bertie, and changing over so that all cats get time with both of us and none of them are "excluded). All 3 cats are loved so much, but we are now such a divided household that nobody is happy.

We have made the incredibly difficult decision that we want Bertie to have a loving home where there are no other pets to stress him.

He is strictly an indoor cat and has never been outside except in the catio.

He not really a lap cat but he likes to be near you (often just keeping contact you with his foot,). He loves attention, cuddles and affection, being brushed, playing and of course Dreamies. He does like to sleep in the bedroom and doesn't like closed doors.

It is so important that as well as there being no other pets, we find him a really loving home where is not left alone all the time (he is used to someone being around as I work from home)

**FOOD UPDATE**

We have had to make a difficult decision regarding the food options we provide for our guests. Due to the significant increase in the cost of cat food, we are unfortunately no longer able to offer the wide range of varieties that we previously stocked. As a small business, continuing to do so is simply no longer sustainable.

While many local catteries are removing food options altogether, we have decided to continue providing food, but on a smaller scale.

For all bookings made from today onwards (20th May 2026) we will provide Whiskas or Go- Cat biscuits and Felix or Whiskas pouches, including kitten and senior options.

If your cat requires any other brands or specific varieties of food, we kindly ask that you bring these along with you.

We believe it is very important for cats to stay on their usual diet, and we have dedicated storage space for each guest’s food to keep it safe and separate during their stay.

We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause and truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.
