🌟 Patient of the Month – Theo 🌟

Meet Theo, our brave and incredibly lovable young French Bulldog!

Earlier this year, Theo and his wonderful family received the difficult news that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma. Since then, Theo has been courageously undergoing chemotherapy with us here at Fauna – and we’re so proud to share that he’s showing fantastic signs of remission! 🎉💪

Throughout his visits, Theo has stolen the hearts of our entire team with his gentle nature, endless cuddles, and unstoppable tail wags. He’s truly a little superstar and an inspiration to us all. ✨

Please join us in giving Theo (and his dedicated family) all the love and support as he continues his journey to full health. 💕

We were fortunate enough to spot a trio of charming corgis, and even more fortunate to capture all three in a perfectly timed photo! 🐶🐶🐶

Did you know? In addition to being excellent watchdogs 🛡️, corgis are also remarkably athletic. Originally bred as herding dogs 🐑, they’re surprisingly fast and agile. Many now excel in agility, conformation, and other competitive events! Proof that these short-legged companions are full of surprises! 🏆🐾

Best Friends Forever!!

Over the past 3 years, Bertie and Dr. P have built something truly special — a bond full of trust, tail wags, and gentle check-ups.

From nervous first visits to pawshakes and smiles, Bertie now walks through our doors like he owns the place (and let’s be honest… he kind of does 🐶👑).

Here’s to the friendships that make veterinary care feel like home. 🐾❤️

🌞 Too Hot to Trot? 🐾

On warm days like these, pavements can reach dangerously high temperatures — and our furry friends feel it fast. This is your gentle reminder from all of us at Fauna Veterinary:

🚫 Avoid walking your dog during the hottest parts of the day (usually between 11am–4pm)
🔥 If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
💧 Always have fresh water available
🌳 Stick to early mornings or late evenings for walks

Let’s keep our pets safe and cool this summer! 💚

Beautiful Bonnie came in for her scale and polish🦷🪥

This quick clean-up removes soft plaque and hard tartar, then buffs the teeth to keep plaque from sticking again.

If left too long, plaque hardens into calculus, which is a rough, bacteria-filled layer that can irritate gums, cause infections, and even lead to tooth loss. 🦠

The best defense? Regular brushing, dental diets, oral gels, water additives, and chew toys! 🦴
