Is it too late to "fix" my rescue dog?
Bringing an adult dog into your home in Cheshire often feels like trying to solve a puzzle where half the pieces are missing.
They come with a history you didn't write. Experiences you didn't witness. And "bad" habits that are actually just deeply ingrained survival mechanisms.
A lot of owners ask me: "Is he too far gone?"
The answer is always No. But the "how" is different.
You cannot train a dog who has lived on the streets of Serbia or spent months in a kennel the same way you train a 12-week-old puppy. Puppies need guidance; Rescues need safety.
Progress isn't a straight line. It’s slower. It requires a specialist who can read the trauma behind the bark. But when it clicks? That bond is deeper than anything else.
I specialise in the "complex" cases—the dogs that other trainers have put in the 'too hard' pile.
