I have received tapeworm results for a horse called Red. Judging by the reference number, it's a kit from a way back. Have any of you sent in a tapeworm saliva kit recently? I need to discuss the results with you.

If you haven't given your winter dose of Equest Pramox yet, now is the ideal time. Spring may seem a long way off but it will be here before we know it! Egg counts will start again around Feb/March depending on the weather and when you wormed.
Tapeworm saliva kits also for sale but I will need notice as I can only supply in small batches due to outlay costs.

After a client query tonight, it made me realise I should inform all my lovely followers, despite increasing costs of everything, I will not be raising the cost of egg counts. I think we are all getting stung by the cost of everything already. Egg counts will stay at £8 per sample. I can't control the cost of tapeworm saliva kits as I am a supplier on their behalf and I barely make a profit on them but I know they are trying to keep costs as low as possible. Best advice is to keep up with the poo-picking! Exercise and a suntan! Everyone's a winner!

Spring is springing! Worm larvae will be emerging. Keep on top of your poo picking and get a worm count booked in! Tapeworm saliva kits need to be pre-ordered. Despite increasing costs of everything, my prices are staying the same for as long as I am able. Egg counts £8 per sample. £18 per tapeworm saliva kit.

Great information on how different wormers work. This is why I won't recommend staying with one type of wormer. Macrocyclic lactones are still really over used and they are our most affective anthelmintic.

From the 1st April, I will be raising the price of egg counts for the first time since I started the business. This is purely down to the rise in fuel and material costs. The price will now be £8 per horse. Tapeworm saliva kits are staying at the same price of £18 each. Thank you for your continued custom. Looking forward to seeing you once spring finally arrives!
