We've almost made it guys 🫣
We are so close to the end of the high temperatures, for now... 😅
It has been a struggle for us all but we got through it and hopefully next week is cooler. Of course its been a struggle and a very difficult time for many. Myself included.
We've all had to endure cancellation after cancellation.
Very early wake ups to get out with our dogs 🐕 before the peak heat.
Multiple drop ins and even extra hours.
Loss of income and much more!
But that's the role we take when running our businesses.
Will we possibly struggle to pay some bills, most likely! Did we regret cancelling lots of our work, absolutely not!
As pet professionals we pride ourselves in doing what is best for our furry friends. If that means cancelling, then of course we're going to take the hit.
It's said multiple times every year, but no dog has ever died from missing a walk.
Myself and many other business owners within this industry and other pet related businesses are well within our rights to cancel in order to keep your pets safe.
I have seen so many comments slating other pet businesses for this and its just wrong. And shows more about them than us.
Heat stroke is a serious and horrible thing. We will never apologise for putting animal welfare first!
Keep going everyone, your doing amazing 👏 🐾
