And I’m very pleased to say the lovely little Gizmo I have on holiday whom unfortunately came down with a bout of lami has improved greatly and is a much more happier/comfier pony now 🥰

My horse/pony holiday cover includes an unlimited number of visits per day and completely tailored care to suit your horse’s normal routine and needs — whether that’s turnout, bring in, mucking out, feeding, riding, medication, field checks or anything else required 🫶🏼

As well as pet services for:
🐶 Dogs
🐱 Cats
🐰 Rabbits
🐠 Fish
🦜 Parrots/Birds
…and many more! ✨

Yesterday’s agenda ✅🐴

First stop was Glebe:
✔️ 6 horses turned out
✔️ 1 fresh hay & water

Next up:
✔️ 1 field poo picked
✔️ 1 stable mucked out
✔️ Fresh water & hay

Then it was farrier day for Finn… who was apparently very capable of holding himself 🤣🐴

After that it was time for a hack on Gem 🫶🏼
Followed by:
✔️ Stable mucked out
✔️ Fresh water & hay
✔️ Field water topped up
✔️ Rinse down after our sweaty ride

Over to Odell next:
✔️ 2 horses fed
✔️ Fly sprayed & waxed
✔️ Fly rugs/masks on & turned out
✔️ 1 horse fed & poo picked+ Fly mask removed
✔️ 1 field poo picked
✔️ 1 stable mucked out & bedding swept forward ready for work to continue on the stable

Last stop of the day was a short drive up the road to my holiday cover gang 🫶🏼

Poor little Gizmo seems to have come down with a bout of lami (not confirmed, but 95% sure 😩), so he was brought straight in.

A quick trip to the feed shop later and he had:
✔️ A nice thick bed made
✔️ Fresh water
✔️ Soaked hay
✔️ a spritz of fly spray

Thankfully I think I’ve caught it quite early, so fingers crossed with the correct management he’ll make a good recovery 🤞🏻

The TBs were also:
✔️ Fed & fly sprayed
✔️ Fields poo picked
✔️ Waters topped up, scrubbed & re-filled

As well as
✔️Gizmo’s field being poo picked
✔️ feeds bowls rinsed & feeds re-made

Next up was some holiday cover ☀️
✔️ 3 horses fed & fly sprayed
✔️ 2 field buckets scrubbed out & re-filled
✔️ Feed buckets cleaned
✔️ Feeds re-made ready for later

Then on to another yard cover:
✔️ 3 stables mucked out & beds moved to the front ready for work to be done
✔️ Water buckets emptied & cleaned
✔️ 1 stable skipped out, Fresh water & haynet
✔️ Rug changed & dinner given to pony
✔️ 4 fields poo picked
✔️ 2 horses fed & rugs changed
✔️ Feed area & yard swept
✔️ 3 AM + PM feeds made up

Last stop of the day — back to Glebe ✅

✔️ 6 stables skipped out
✔️ Beds pulled down & topped up
✔️ Fresh waters & hay
✔️ Rugs on
✔️ Yard swept

A lovely way to finish off another busy day keeping everyone tucked up and settled for the night 🐴✨
