A very strange year for everyone this year, but ending it on a high at one of our favourite places - looking after the beautiful Hector, Sally, Mioaw, 50 chickens and some ducks!!

It’s going to be a cold, muddy but fun couple of weeks.

Because of Covid-19 this page has been pretty quiet, we're not able to house or pet sit at the moment and most people's holidays are cancelled. In the meantime I've been keeping myself busy with Semilong Community Exchange - much to Trev's dismay!

Hello folks,

As many of you know, Jo and our 2 daughters (aged 4 and 12) have just started house and pet sitting for family and friends as a cheap way to travel around the country (or world) and see new places.

My 12 year old has a BTEC level 2 in animal care and is OBSESSED with animals, and as a family we have experience of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, snakes, chickens and mice.

We aren’t a business and are just offering an informal service so we can build up some references. We come and stay in your house and look after your animals for you for free, in return for somewhere to stay and experience for Alice for her portfolio.

Anyway, if you ever get stuck and need someone to housesit, bear us in mind, and send me a private message. It’s working pretty well for us so far and we always try to leave the place better than we found it.

This week we are staying in a beautiful house with some gorgeous animals, we’ve had some hair raising moments with chickens - thanks to the storm, but it’s all great experience. We’ve also been cleaning and changing over the connected Airbnb while we’re here and the kids are learning so much about so many different things!!
