This is one of the best social media posts I’ve seen in a long time!

I’ve turned down so many potential buyers on our youngstock as they’ve wanted videos of them as 3 year olds jumping and we refuse to do so!
It’s very refreshing to see professionals like yourselves having the same thoughts as we do! 👏🏻

Just a little heads up if you are looking at our horses… we do NOT overproduce our young horses. So when you ask for videos, do not expect to see them trotting like Valegro and jumping like Explosion at 3/4…

I can see what a horse will be in the future from how they walk, canter and how naturally athletic they are over their first little fences. A fancy trot doesn’t impress me. Athleticism isn’t about hitting the sky and throwing their back legs almost over their head. You can engineer that. Natural athleticism is how light they are over the ground, how they eye up a fence and how they get from one side to the other whilst being respectful of a pole. Yes they need to have a good technique but they don’t need to be looping the loop. Horses that explode over a small fence every time are going to be very hard on themselves physically.

We are producing quality, well bred young horses with longevity in mind. We aren’t trying to win 3 or 4yo classes - in my opinion they prove nothing about the horse’s future prospects, all you do is shorten that horse’s career. Darc Maxim was the most unimpressive 3yo loose jumper 🤣 and was “nice” but not flash as a 4yo. Yet she went on to win the 7yo championship, Foxhunter second round and many other big classes across the country.

Our 4yos will politely WTC, know what a contact is, hack out and pop a few small fences. That’s it. We don’t expect them to do any more! All our 4yo fillies are done and back in the field after doing 8-10weeks work this year, most of that consisting of hacking. The geldings have come in now for their turn. We play the long game and take our time because the horses always come first.

So if you need to see a horse throwing big shapes round a course of fences - we are probably not for you. But if you can see a quality, raw young horse - Or you can trust us to show you one if you can’t, drop us a line!

Say Hello to the very beautiful 2018 Gelding .. Eagle 🤩

Eagle is 16”1/2, Capper Cassonanova x Maybe Baby.

Eagle is a stunning dappled grey who is a big Labrador and loves kisses and cuddles.

He’s been Crosscountry schooling , hunting, showjumping,liberty, bridleless , been to the beach and on group rides with 8 horses and stayed calmed and relaxed.

I believe he’d make a great RC/PC all rounder. He would also be a perfect mother/daughter share

How do they look so together and perfect?" asked the boy.

We are truly frantically paddling at the moment. Life seems to be hitting us at 110mph we huge obstacles we have to clamber over 😅 but..

My beautiful baby’s and mommas, I’m so proud of our breeding program. We have some beautiful youngstock just starting on the tracks and already taking wins! It’s so exciting to see our name on the results. 💖

(Olly is alive and well - he just likes to play ☠️ 😂 oh and he loves a cuddle so stays down until you’ve spent time snuggled up to him 🤷🏼‍♀️)

Who remembers Olly who had emergency surgery this year and was very wonky and poorly? Well that’s him looking rather well and handsome on the left and his full brother Joey who’s a year older on the right!

Beautiful boys are going to be big I think and are both staying with me to produce and have my own homebreds to jump hopefully if they become as big as we think they will 🤞🏼

They are
offspring and we could not be happier with how they look and how they are in themselves and so excited to see where the next few years take us 🙌🏼

It is a great pleasure to introduce this charming filly foal who boasts not only an exceptional temperament, excellent conformation and powerful gaits, but also a dream pedigree with outstanding provenance in the direct motherline.

Grandmother Billy Amira, who is currently competing at BS with Amy Nemeth, is the full sister of three international performance horses, Billy Olive, successful under the saddle of Alex David Gill (GBR), Billy Galleon and Billy Argosy. In addition to her exceptional breeding career, Billy Amira's mother also competed nationally up to 1.45m with Emma and Andrew Saywell.

The family goes back to the great mare Aida Z whose line produced the 1.55m horse Lady Lulu 2 who competed with Margaux Rocket (FR). Also from that mare family we have the 1.60m horses Zidande P and Bono.

This mare family stands for consistency and performance through and through.

Sire Cadensky brings the important influence of the great stallions Cornet Obolensky and Carthago Z. He not only enjoyed a successful competition career with many placings up to 1.55m with Nisse Lüneburg (GER) but has also proven himself as a sire with internationally successful offspring including the prolific 1.60m horse Cool Cash who is still competing and the 1.55m horse Cava.
