The coolest little dog and the coolest team!

Amy recently adopted Imara and needed a helping hand to turn her the awesome dog she is today. Over a period of 6 weeks we’ve worked together to build their relationship, confidence, obedience and giving a Imara the off lead freedom she needs and deserves.

I’s super proud of all the work they’ve put in and can’t wait to see them keep thriving 🧡

We’re super excited to be hosting Mike from Revolution Elite Protection Dogs for a bite-work taster day. Mike is a certified PSA decoy and will go deep dive into all things bite-work, from mechanics to drives.

This workshop is suitable for all dogs from working dogs, to pets to off breeds. Come along, bring your dog, bring a picnic and have some fun!

What does training your dog mean to you?

To me, it’s not just about obedience; it’s about the relationship between dog and handler, because without a relationship, it’s pointless.

My biggest goal when training with you and your dog isn’t just to make the dog to walk nicely or sit stay, but to build a team, motivation, trust, and a want to work together, because if you have that, the rest will come a whole lot easier.

I love seeing the change in dog and handler relationships and seeing both thrive together. I love being your biggest supporter. I love the clients that send me updates and message me ‘how can I make this better’ or the ‘guess how great today was?!’ I will always be your biggest cheerleader if you put in the work 💛

A super handy tool to have in your tool kit 🔨

Box feeding can be a fantastic and effective method for building confidence, focus, resilience or tolerance to handling and touch in many scenarios.

A method that I introduced Nero to as a young puppy, which has helped with building his focus on a job as well as getting him comfortable with manual handling.

Remember before you judge, a dog can be muzzled for numerous reasons and I hugely advocate for muzzle training 🙌

Yesterday Nero earned his PDC!

It was the first time we’ve ever stepped foot on the trial field and I can’t tell you how nerve wracking it was! I was shaking like a leaf, praying he’d do what he needed to do, and he did! I’m so so proud of this boy’s performance. I couldn’t have asked for much more… maybe a faster down in motion 😉

I turned up with no expectations and just the hope that we’d pass. He scored the second highest of the dogs in his group on the day and held his second position spot through 9 more competitor’s today, and I’m over the moon!

A huge thank you to for putting on a great trial, as well as the judge, decoys and secretaries.

And of course my amazing club - Norfolk Nashers teaching us everything we know so far, for putting up with my numerous stupid questions and handler faux pas 🙊 - .steele .panko .nico

Onwards and upwards to the 1’s!
