🌟REASONS TO BATHE YOUR DOG🌟😔🐾🐶
1. Removes dirt & Odor
Dogs are animals! They spend alot of time outside playing, walking, rolling etc. They are at risk of picking up parasites, bugs and just yucky stuff on their walks. Bathing your dog regularly especially with a shampoo that has anti bacterial properties (like Bubbles & Boops shampoo bars), will keep your dog and your home clean, hygenic and smelling great!
2. Strengthens your bond
Bathing can be relaxing! Spending time grooming and stroking your dog during bath time will fortify your bond and help them to enjoy bath time!
Our massage shampoo bars can help to activate the canine acupressure points reducing anxiety and stress in the bath!
3. Helps Monitor your dogs health
Bath time is a great opportunity to check your dogs body for any lumps, bumps or just anything that shouldn't necessarily be there! I wouldn't have found bellas lump if I didn't bathe her that day! This just helps you keep up to date with your dogs physical condition which can be life saving!
4. Helps to remove dead fur (shedding)
All dogs shed! Some more than others, especially double coated dogs like my Kevin ⬇️ Massaging the coat will tease and release any dead fur out of the undercoat/coat which means less hoovering for you!
5. Helps with allergies, yours and theirs!
Like I said above, dogs pick up things very easily. Including dust and any allergens. Bathing often will help you keep on top of anything that can irritate you or your dogs skin or breathing
6. Keeps their skin healthy
Bathing regularly will make sure any bacteria or parasites that can cause infections or dermatitis, are removed from the coat before they have a chance to cause problems!
My dog Bella suffers with seborrheic dermatitis which means her skin produces to much seborrhea (oil) which cause blackheads, cysts and dry skin! Along with a very smelly and greasy coat. I bathe her regularly with my oats and honey shampoo bar to delicately hydrate her skin and remove excess oils from!
There are many more reasons to bathe your dog BUT it's is equally important to not bathe your dog to often! Bathing too often can effect the PH level of your dogs skin causing irritation and sore dry skin. It can also interfere with external worming and flea treatments.
Picking a gentle but effective shampoo like our shampoo bars will keep your dogs skin and fur healthy, feeling soft and smelling PAWFECT 🐾🐶❤
