πΏ Appeal for a Secure Garden for Hedgehog Release π¦ πΏ
We are currently looking for a safe, secure garden to help with the soft release of either disabled hedgehogs or longer term rehabilitation hedgehogs before they return to the wild.
These hedgehogs need a period of close monitoring and supplementary feeding, so the right environment is really important.
What weβre looking for:
β’ A fully enclosed, mature garden (approx. 50mΒ² β 100mΒ²)
β’ Solid walls or fencing with no gaps at ground level
β’ Secure gates with no escape points
β’ No ponds, open drains, ramps, or use of pesticides
β’ Natural garden features β bushes, wild areas, and real grass (no artificial turf)
β’ Space for a hedgehog house/box
This is a wonderful way to support local wildlife and give a vulnerable hedgehog the best chance at a safe return to nature π
If you think you can help or would like more information, please get in touch!
Thank you for supporting our prickly friends π¦
