Please bare with me for a few days whilst I heal, rest and recover aswell as trying to entertain my children.
18th april, Friday morning I took a kick (with the front leg) to the mouth whilst unloading. - I did have my hat on.
Once shock settled, a few tears, a whole bottle of coke for sugar, a flapjack force fed for energy and an extra 2-3 coats on me to make sure I stay warm and not go back into shock, I was finally allowed to hop on and go on the funride.
Reggino was a very good boy on a whole.
Was able to join, accompany and leave other groups of horses.
Upon my hospital visit, I was already aware he had knocked my front top teeth back in my mouth. Emergency dentist manipulated the teeth back straight into place and got them to click back into their sockets with now a splint on my teeth for a few weeks. I have a bone crown fracture, and his shoe split my lip which I declined having optional stitches in, to be honest I felt I couldn't take anymore mouth trauma for the day. 🙈
