With so many dogs being reported lost lately....I've dealt with 2 TODAY !
I thought I'd repost again.....PLEASE GET AN ID TAG FOR YOUR DOGS 🐕 ❤️🐾
Did you know your dog's collar and tag is more than a fashion accessory?
It is a legal requirement for all dogs to wear a collar with an ID tag when out in public spaces. For regular houdinis, it may be sensible to leave this on at all times in case of escape.
This ID tag is required to state the name of the owner and address. We would also recommend adding a contact number. This should hopefully allow swift reuniting should someone come across your dog.
All dogs are also legally required to be implanted with a microchip which is registered to a database that contains the owner information. This can be scanned by the local Dog Warden, vet practices and many charities.
Many stray dogs are found each day. Take this opportunity to check your dog's collar, tag and microchip and share this post with those who may not know this information.
