With just a few days left before I close down my business and page I just wanted to share how genuinely taken back I am with people’s kindness.

I have been overwhelmed with the generosity of cards, flowers, chocolates, presents and words of encouragement.

This has been an extremely emotional few weeks. Self employment is hard and I haven’t always got it right but I was unaware the positive impact my little business has had.

Some customers have been using my services for many years, i have built some precious friendships along the way.
I am going to miss all my furry friends, dog mums and dads so much 😢

Thank you for all your business over the last 16 years. I wish you all the best for the future and with your new dog groomers.

I would like to announce that I am closing down my business, Pampered Pooches.

I understand this may come as a huge surprise to many of you, this has been a very sad and difficult decision for me to make.

Established in 2007, firstly in my mobile van and then in the salon in North Cave, I have been so blessed to have had so many lovely and loyal customers. You have trusted me with your precious pet, I will always be thankful 🥹

Many that know me well, know I have dedicated my time to my children and worked really hard to make my business a success.

But with both my amazing boys now on their own career path in the Royal Navy, I feel it’s the right time for a change direction for myself.

Opportunities arise and life is constantly changing, chapters close so a new one can open.

My last day will be Friday 12th April 2024, all the appointments booked up to this day will still stand.

Just an update on recent post….. i.e., hand injury.
I’ll be back to work on Monday (31st July).
I might be a little slower than normal, but I’m drafting in some extra help 💪🏻
I will be in contact with those people whose appointments were cancelled on Thursday and Friday.

A beautiful crisp day for a walk in the park! We welcome walkers that STICK to the PATH and keep DOGS on a LEAD at ALL TIMES!

We’ve had concerning feedback that dogs have been left to roam off their leads in the park, causing distress to the wildlife.

This is a private park and we welcome respectful walkers, for this to continue we require ALL visitors to stick to the path and ALL DOGS to be kept on their leads with no exception!

Thank you for respecting our park and adhering to our wishes.
