Sadly, due to illness, I have to close my Tara's Tails business. Its been such a difficult decision for me, but I have to put my health first. Thanks to everyone I've met over the last few years, I'm going to miss all the lovely cats & dogs.

When taking daily exercise with your dog, please keep your pet under control at all times (ideally on a lead) and always pick up after your pet 🐕

Keeping your dog on its lead will reduce the risk of harm to you and your dog by allowing you to stick to social distancing guidelines.

We have adapted our stray dog response service during the COVID-19 pandemic, and are now using the Lost and Found Pets North Down/Ards & Surrounding Areas/ Rescue & Rehoming page to post information about any stray dog reports that we receive. Please check this site if your dog goes missing.

If you need to report a stray dog contact the Council on 0300 013 3333.

It has never been more important to be a responsible dog owner, please help us keep Ards and North Down clean and safe.

If anyone is not working and runs out of food, please don’t go to sleep with an empty stomach. Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to send a private message. I will be more than happy to share whatever food I have. I will drop and go.

I was taught growing up that where one person eats; two can eat, too. We have to be more grateful and less selfish❤️
