Safe to say prince smashed our camping trip.
From being hands down the most reactive dog I've ever worked with to being able to think and respond and listen.
He's still too interested by the staring but from a dog that I used to avoid all other dogs with to being able to go camping is just amazing.
Prince used to react with lunging/barking completely freaking out at any dog within an acre away.
His breed is against him, his early years are against him but despite it all he's came so far and I'm so proud.

So we had an accident today of a collar that gave in.
So i thought pretty good video on how to do your recall.
Hear how chill i am?
Well I was NOT chill 🤣
At the end of the day my dog is a jack russell and a hunting breed. I can never say 1000% he won't chase a rabbit or squirrel every time I ask.
Its what hes bred to do.
But hear how calm I Force myself to be.
And hear how happy & excited & focused on him returning rather than the correction of not recalling as quick as usual.
If i had have shouted in a negative tone and ran after him, I would have drove him further into the woods possibly loosing him & myself.
Ask yourself why would your dog want to recall if hes got the whole woods to explore?
Value/Fun/Rewards not being chased & shouted at. Sometimes if im panicked ill double up with a ball 🤭

Rehoming appeal for Tilly and Fizz 🐾

Tilly and Fizz are two female jack russell terrier mixes and are approx 9 weeks old.
They are microchipped, vaccinated, deflead and wormed to date.

These girls will need all aspects of puppy training and will be small/medium when fully grown. A secure garden is a must.
