🐾 WE’RE LOOKING FOR PART-TIME STAFF 🐾

Hillside Kennels & Cattery are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working across our kennels, cattery and grooming areas, so no two days are ever the same 🐶🐱

📍 Applicants must:
• Be over 18
• Hold a full clean driving licence
• Be reliable, hardworking and good with animals
• Be available to work across the full week, including weekends
• Be available during school holidays and busy periods
• Not be currently at school

Experience is not essential as full training can be given, however a genuine love of animals and a strong work ethic are a must.

Please note this role involves long, busy days and physical work, so it would suit someone who isn’t afraid of hard work and can work well as part of a team.

Hours will vary depending on the season and demand. This is a zero-hour position, with quieter periods during off-season, but hours can increase significantly during busy periods and school holidays, potentially up to full-time hours over the summer.

We would ideally like someone mature and dependable, but we are open to applicants of all ages over 18 who feel they would suit the role.

We are an older style kennel that is nestled into the hillside in Greenisland, but a lot of emphasis goes into the time spent with each animal to ensure it's stay is as comfortable and happy as possible, also offer a pick up and delivery service.

Little Rua was in with us yesterday for her second puppy groom and honestly… how cute is she?! 🐶🤍

Such a good girl and getting more confident every visit. We are obsessed with that fluffy face 😍

Some of you might recognise Louie from Facebook a couple of months ago… but just look at him now 🥹🐾

We honestly can’t believe how grown up he’s becoming! From his very first visit with us to his most recent groom, he has come on so much and is turning into the best boy 💙

This is exactly why introducing puppy grooms early is so important it helps build confidence, trust, and makes grooming a positive experience from the very beginning ✂️🐶
