The Game Change Project -not for profit organisation The Game Change Project helps young people gain life skills, confidence and training

We provide life skills programmes which help young people develop their confidence and self belief so that they can thrive and reach their true potential. Our unique experiences combined with proven coaching techniques literally "bring learning to life". Young people who are struggling in a traditional classroom environment can experience the power of non verbal communication by working with hors

es; learn practical skills like digger driving, mechanics and off road driving, develop problem solving and team working strategies and practice their skills through community volunteering. We link with local businesses as mentors and people from the community as volunteer supporters. The project is located in a beautiful part of rural mid Wales where the countryside, nature and fresh air are a tonic in themselves. Our team building, leadership and self development workshops for adults help fund our core work with young people.

Exploring careers in construction

Huge thanks to Sam George for the demo/practical workshop in the art of stonemasonry.

The group also tried their hand at bricklaying with Coach

Bricklaying and stonemasonry are related construction trades that involve building structures, but bricklaying focuses on using bricks and blocks, while stonemasonry specifically uses natural stone. Both professions involve laying materials in mortar to create walls, chimneys, and other structures, but stonemasons often perform more specialized tasks like carving, restoring, and working with heritage buildings.

Such a heartwarming and inspirational evening put on by the amazing Sws On The Loose
We were thrilled to be chosen as one of several good causes to receive a donation at 'the big giveaway' and it was lovely to hear of all the good work that goes on in our community.
Hats off to the committee and volunteers of Sws on the Loose, who work so hard organising annual events, and in this, their 5th year raised a colossal ยฃ10,000 to be shared between local grass roots charities.
Thankyou Sws on the Loose, we can't tell you how much this means to us at The Game Change Project -not for profit organisation

Wishing these two best of luck as they enter their next chapter ๐Ÿ˜Š
โญ๏ธJames has been attending The Game Change Project for nearly 2 years, having first completed Animal Care, then Landbased. He took on the role of Peer Mentor and recently completed 2 Agored units as part of our Achieve programme. James will now be studying Art and design at
โญ๏ธBella joined us last summer and progressed from basic Animal Care through to Advanced Equine and then Achieve to gain her Agored credits. Bella hopes to pursue her love of horses and one day work in the equestrian industry.
Both James and Bella have been a pleasure to work with, and we look forward to seeing them go from strength to strength.
โญ๏ธAlso moving on from the Mechanics group to concentrate on their GCSE's are Charlie and Herbie (didn't manage to grab a photo of them!). Good luck lads and keep in touch ๐Ÿ‘
