On the 18th September, 1993 - I welcomed my very first guests to Riverbank Cattery. Whiskey, Pushkin and Mowgli.

Over the years, I have met hundreds & hundreds of absolutely gorgeous cats and SOOO many wonderful customers.

Many of you have brought multiple cats throughout the years.

But now, 32 years later, I have had to make the horrendously difficult and heart breaking decision to close the cattery.

Whether your cat has only stayed with us for 1 holiday or for 100s - I just want to thank every single one of you for supporting my dream of having my own cattery.

I have never taken any bookings for granted.

On the 31st January, 2026, I will lay down my litter scoop and close the doors for the final time.

A MASSIVE thank you - I'm going to miss it desperately.

Wild purples & whites started our busy Friday ahead of the bank holiday weekend. We have a limited amount of fresh stock left now for tomorrow but plenty of delightful indoor and outdoor plants! Pop by tomorrow 9am til 1pm 🌿🌸✨

18th September, 1993 - Riverbank Cattery took in their very first guests. Whiskey, Pushkin and Mowgli. I can't believe I've been doing something I love so much for 30 years.

As beautiful as they are, do not run the risk of having Lilies in the house if you are a cat owner! Even a playful bite of a leaf can be fatal. There are plenty of cat-friendly flowers available, so do not make this simple mistake!
