The Jutone Kennel was established in 1964 and it has always been the aim to breed the best German Shepherd Dogs for type and temperament.

To this end the very finest German bloodlines are used to continue a modern breeding programme.

Twelve years ago, where does the time go? This was the first of 3 CC's and 2 RCC's.

GSD Judge Meg Purnell-Carpenter, Ann Swift and our beautiful Conbhairean Erika, CC and Best of Breed winner at Three Counties Championship Show yesterday. A big Thank You to everyone who sent us congratulations here and at the show, you made our day even more special. Thanks!!

Champion Conbhairean Erika vom Felsental loved the show ring and was a really lovely personality. We really miss her.

We drove up to the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells on Sunday for the Welsh Kennel Club Championship show. We took Frankie (Felsental Franko) who was entered in the Novice class. He won the class, his first win since last year. Thanks to Arron Price for handling him and Sharon Bowen for taking him in the challenge.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Joyal Masih who took pictures of Frankie and his sister BamBam (Felsental Foxtrot) at the SW GSD Championship show last weekend where both dogs were third in their class. We've used the picture of Frankie below.

It's only been a few weeks since we wished our girl Ch. Conbhairean Erika vom Felsental a happy 13th birthday but with great sadness we have to announce her passing. I can't add much to what I said on her birthday. She got her three CC's in six shows over eight weeks always brilliantly handled by our friend Ann Swift. With a little help from Boris (Felsental Hussar) she produced our well known Felsental H***y. She was always a pleasure to live with and we will miss her very much.

Wishing our Champion Conbhairean Erika vom Felsental a very happy birthday! 13 years old today. Three CC's in eight weeks! She's such a competitor and never been any bother all the time we've had her, a pleasure to live with! She's just a little deaf when called (or so she makes out...). We hope she has a few years left with us. We are always grateful that Heather and David let us have her.

Introducing Felsental Franko (Frankie), Sasko von der Zenteiche (Imp DEU) x Felsental Hianna (Vanna). His mother, Hianna is by Dingo Di Casa Mary (Imp ITA) and our well known Felsental H***y.
Below Frankie is his litter sister Felsental Foxtrot initially known as Bambi but very soon changed to Bam Bam (from the Flintstones...)
Both did well in their puppy classes and with a little more training will be entered in the higher classes.

Our thanks to Kate O'brien for the running and the pictures (we can't even manage a fast walk these days!)

This is Loki the only remaining pup from our latest litter. He is now 9 weeks old and waiting for his inoculations before he can go to Mole Valley like his half-brother Charlie. His sire is Champion Desjeim von der Herdesfarm (Jimmy) and his mother is Felsental Lucinda (Lulu).

Update on Thursday 23rd May. Loki went to see the vet this morning for his first inoculation. He loved looking out of the window of the van and travelled very well. He enjoyed meeting the staff and passed his health check with flying colours!

It is with sad hearts that Sandra and I lost Felsental Hussar (Boris) yesterday. Boris was 13 years old and was the dog 'in charge' at the kennels. He had a good show career himself but was also the sire of our fabulous Felsental H***y (Lucy). He was such a character he will be a hard act to follow and we, and the other dogs, will miss him immensely.

Thank you to everyone who enquired after Charlie. He has now been spoken for and will be living nearby.
Our next litter will be due mid-March.

Little "Charlie" is still with us. He's finished his inoculations and has had a little lead training. We had to take Lulu to the vet for a blood test so we put him in the van for a socialisation session on the way back. Here he is at Mole Valley Farmers checking out the toys. We now know that he loves people but is not so keen on trolleys!
