We had drama at the park last week, a swarm of honey bees. Luckily a local beekeepers came to the rescue. It is actually fascinating. These are homeless bees who have filled themselves with honey and then made a move together to find a new home. They settle somewhere like this then send out scouts to find somewhere for them to all live. Bless them little homeless bees 🐝. They now have a lovely new home just down the road from us 😊🌿🐝

Roo and the pugs had great fun at the park on Sunday. Just look at the smile on their faces 😁

***** Reminder *****
The new law for dog owners starts 18th March (UK)
From Wednesday 18th March, updated laws on livestock worrying come into force in England and Wales.
Under the new rules, it is an offence if a dog chases, attacks, or causes distress to livestock. Importantly, the dog does not have to bite or injure the animal for it to count as livestock worrying.
Livestock includes animals such as:
β€’ Sheep
β€’ Cattle
β€’ Goats
β€’ Pigs
β€’ Horses
β€’ Poultry

Police will also have stronger powers to investigate incidents, including the ability to seize dogs involved in attacks.
Penalties can include unlimited fines and compensation for farmers if livestock are harmed.
In areas like Cornwall, where we have so many public footpaths pass through farmland, dog owners should ensure dogs are kept under close control and put on a lead where livestock are present.
This is simply to make people aware of the legal responsibilities when walking dogs near farm animals.
