Pet Gundog Skills – All the Fun, Without the Gun!
Have you ever wished your gundog would listen just as well when they're off lead as they do in your living room? Do you want better recall, more focus and a stronger bond with your dog—all while having fun together?
Our 6-week Pet Gundog Skills course is designed to do exactly that.
Using reward-based training, games, toys and food rewards, you'll discover how to work with your dog's natural instincts rather than against them. Gundog breeds were bred to use their noses, hunt, retrieve and work closely with their owners. When those instincts aren't given a positive outlet, it's common to see problems such as poor recall, lack of focus, over-excitement and dogs who seem to have selective hearing!
This course channels those natural abilities into fun, engaging training that builds self-control, confidence and teamwork. You'll learn practical skills that you can use on everyday walks, helping your dog make better choices even in exciting environments.
And don't worry—this isn't a working gundog course. There are no guns, no game birds and no shooting. We train using dummies, toys, games and lots of positive reinforcement. It's simply a fantastic way to keep your dog mentally stimulated while improving everyday obedience.
During the course you'll learn:

• Loose lead and heelwork
• Focus and engagement around distractions
• Sit and stay
• Steadiness and self-control
• Introduction to hunting games
• Retrieving with dummies and toys
