Hibiscrub is quite handy to have in your cupboard for your pets and yourself! It’s an antiseptic cleanser which targets bacteria, fungi, yeast and viruses. It’s used in vet practices to scrub up before surgery, clean the surgical site and to clean wounds. It’s also used in hospitals.

So if your pet has had a fight, scraped themselves or has a sore claw or fungal paws you can use this.

Just add some to a bowl and dilute with water and gently clean the site. If your pet won’t let you touch their paws (if sore) then you can dunk their foot in the bowl and let it soak for a few seconds. It will still help. 👩🏻‍⚕️🐾🐈🐶 (you can buy in shops or Amazon)

I was reunited with gorgeous Ivy today for a walk. I used to walk her a few years ago so it was lovely to see each other for an ad hoc walk! 🥰🐾

In hot weather it’s important to remember that although your dog needs to go to the toilet they won’t die from not going for a walk, especially in the heat 🫠

Dogs do not sweat like humans, they sweat through their paws and nose. That’s why if the pavement is too hot to keep your hand on, it’s best not to walk them. It prevents them cooling down and can burn their pads.

Keep your pets cool and safe 🐾🧡

Watermelon is a great snack for your dogs in the heat. Just remove the pips and you can cut into small pieces. It’s really hydrating and a great summer snack! 🍉
