I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions.
Especially when it comes to dogs.

There’s no “new year, new dog”.
No fixing.

That’s how I think about Scrub A Pup as well.

Some are fine with it.
Others find the noise and movement overwhelming.

That’s not bad behaviour.
That’s just personality.

I’ve always believed dogs should be allowed to be themselves.
Not forced into situations they’re uncomfortable with.

That’s the same approach I’ve taken with Scrub A Pup.
You’re in control the whole time.
You go at your dog’s pace.
No rushing. No pressure.

Especially important at this time of year.

Walk times change.
Meal times shift.
Everything feels a bit upside down.

And that includes life with dogs.

Some days the walk is shorter.
Some days it’s later than usual.
Some days things just don’t go to plan.

That’s exactly why Scrub A Pup exists.

It’s not.
It’s me.
My dad helping in the evenings.

Me answering messages.
Me learning as I go.

And I think it’s important that people know that.
