We've been asked to share this lovely event taking place at Stormont Estate on Sunday 14th June at 1pm.

The Pet Memorial Walk gives people a chance to remember and celebrate the pets they have loved and lost, while raising funds for Rosie's Trust, a charity that provides practical support for people and their pets during difficult times.

There are also some amazing raffle prizes up for grabs, including a £500 Galgorm voucher, £500 home heating oil and an overnight stay for two at the Grand Central Hotel.

😼 CAT OWNERS... We need to know if this is just our cats or if yours do it too...

You spend a fortune on a lovely bowl.

You fill it with expensive food.

You lovingly place it down.

And your cat stands there looking at you like you've served dinner in a wheelie bin. 😑

Then they proceed to:
🐾 Eat only from the very middle
🐾 Leave all the food around the edges
🐾 Pull the food out onto the floor
🐾 Scream at you as if they're starving

Turns out... they're not being dramatic. (Well, not entirely.)

Many cats experience something called *whisker fatigue*. Their whiskers are incredibly sensitive and repeatedly brushing against the sides of a deep bowl can be uncomfortable or even stressful.

That's why many cats actually prefer:
😺 Wide, shallow bowls
😺 Saucer-style dishes
😺 Plates over traditional pet bowls

So if your cat has ever:
✔️ Pawed food out of the bowl
✔️ Left food around the edges
✔️ Eaten from your dinner plate but not theirs
✔️ Acted personally offended by breakfast
..their bowl might be the problem, not the food.

Meanwhile dogs are out here eating socks, gravel and half a tennis ball without complaint. 🤦‍♀️
